Really don't know how anyone can rate this place anywhere above a two. Even taking into consideration different expectations and tastes. Just short of £6 for the Frickles (deep fried pickles) these were badly cooked and soggy. Nachos arrived with a CHEESE SLICE still unmelted on top...yes, a CHEESE SLICE. £16.95 for the PIT burger, expected something spectacular for the price, instead was served with what would have expected to pay £6.95 for. Very little pulled pork or brisket on the burger as described. One PIT burger was served and then informed that they had run short of brisket and pulled pork so it hadn't been put on and did we want something else like chicken adding....surely this should be communicated prior to serving the meal at time of order or at least before serving. The trio of burgers arrived, with two of the burgers exactly the same, nothing communicated obviously with the hope that we wouldn't notice. Out of 10 meals all chips were undercooked & onion rings overcooked. Then came pudding, chocolate brownie served cold. The tip of tbe iceberg...literally...whole time we were there we couldn't take our jackets off because it was so cold. When we questioned the cold we were told that they knew it was an ongoing issue and they'd received many complaints before....obviously no regard for the comfort of customers paying extortionate prices for average food. We were offered 10% off the bill, when it arrived they hadnt even managed to calculate 10% correctly. If you want an average burger and dont want to pay above the odds you'd be better heading downstairs to the Woolen Mill, the bottles of Bud will most likely be cheaper than £4.95 too. Very disappointing.

Some great food on offer here and some novelty food too. If you're serious about your burgers, there are some good quality options to choose from. From experience, Frank's burger is a good option. The 5th avenue is a beast (almost like competition eating size) but good quality burgers. The pit nachos are amazing. Fully loaded and full of flavour.

As I said, there are novelty items too. Doughnut burgers, sound so wrong but some of the guys I went with said they were very good.

Peanut butter on fries also sound so wrong, But, they taste good in my opinion. I guess some of these novelty item are a bit like marmite (you'll either love it or hate it).

Only negative for me, is that drinks seem to take an age to get to the table. Food quality, for me, made up for this.

Absolutely horrendous. If you want good food definitely don’t come here! I wouldn’t feed the dogs in here.
Service is atrocious. Pray you don’t get the guy who calls everyone darling, constantly asks you to “give him a shout” and generally hovers around your table making you feel awkward.
Everyone got burnt fries, the much lauded gravy is like brown water, the chicken burgers were burnt (one of which randomly took ten minutes longer to cook that the other) and the refillable lemonade took over a week to get refilled.

Overpriced garbage. Do yourself a favour and find a Five Guys or an Almost Famous

booked a table at half 6 waited till half 8 for our food and it was lovely but the lack of staff made the service really slow our saviour was the young lass working tonight who seemed to get some hassle from the lads even though she was the one who made sure we were well looked after and I believe she deserves better we will be returning and we're hoping she is treated with more respect this time and making sure she and only she kept her tip as we requested thank you again sorry we didn't catch your name otherwise we would have put it in this review but thank you and well done

Best BBQ food in Darlington - pleasantly surprised at the quality and standard of food from here having only heard good review before visiting. They take pride in serving well made BBQ food to a high standard. The meat plate was stunning if your a meat lover all of it was some of the best I’ve tasted.

Service was great and I couldn’t complain of the service times at all considering it was tea time on a Saturday night!

Would recommend and will be coming back!

First visit to KerbEdge today as it has just opened a couple of weeks ago. First class food! Very tasty and excellent service! Will defo be going back!

Slightly confused by some of the other reviews for this place as they are over 2months old and this restaurant has just opened... Think they may be for the business that used to be there... Don't believe any reviews from over a month ago (before March) as it wasn't open... Defo try it out!!!

I was a worker of this company. I was underpaid and had to argue for weeks to get my wages. I have since seen another post on Facebook regarding this company not paying their staff I advise all customer to bycot this place at all costs food is not good quality for your money neither is it fair the staff graft their balls off to be missing wages at the end of the month when you have bills die out that you can't pay because they messed ya wages up

Waited 20 minutes for drinks 40 minutes for food which was cold burgers were cold chips were cold and bad potatoes tiny portion of mayonnaise had to ask if there was sauces were told that soft drinks were refillable but not asked if we wanted a refill til we were leaving no leadership manager looked like she didn't have a clue £60.00 lighter would of preferred a big and tasty from McDonald's never ever again rotten

Waiting staff are all polite and apologetic when things go wrong but can defiantly tell they under trained/managed. Food always slow to come out, waited 40 mins to be told what I wanted was unavailable then a further 40 mins for the replacement to arrive. Third visit and third time waiting time has been rediculous. Has potential but let down by a poor kitchen and management team.

I ordered a burger which comes with a side of chips, the chips were stone cold so I asked for some more, they came and they were just warm, my burger was cold and the bun was burnt black. Only thing I enjoyed was the desert which was the cheesecake freakshake but you could tell everything was just took out the fridge and then served.

Foods nice, the staff are great but the drinks are a bit pricey (cocktails). Also the speed of serving drinks was a little slow.
The burgers are great though and hold together surprisingly well considering the size and what's in them!

I tried this fairly new to Darlington burger restaurant a couple of days ago and was quite impressed,I had the rodeo burger and it was very tasty and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful too.

Decent food... Pricy for what it is. Huge place was basically empty when we went so lacked atmosphere but I'm sure when it's busier it's better. Not fussed on the school/prison style decor.

Nice place but food expensive and not much of it , good selection of cocktails if you like that sort of thing , food was like warm only slightly warmer than the rather chilly restaurant

Cold. Bog standard food. Have had better burgers at family pubs. Very over priced. Milkshake cost nearly £5 for the sake of some softened ice cream.

Lovely food, unfortunately small portions and for a lot of money not that great. Dessert options were a bit limited but what was there was good!
