Very disappointing , seat near door ice cold and people strod constantly next to table whilst eating getting seated or picking up take outs , limited seating very tightly packed in . Young Waiter was pleasant , but couldn't make up for the quality of the food as awful just full of salt ,.steak very over cooked , fish and chips were basic with McDonald style fries , not asked how food was so had to quietly point it out salt content was appalling . Starters were so basic and tasteless just left . If your looking for home cooking basic food it's ok but nothing more than basic . Sorry for the negative review but it was awful and no apology given despite paying full price and complaining very politely . Plenty of great restaurants in Ayrshire so won't be back .

Me and my wife will get a takeaway from here every so often. Tonight may be the last time we do this.

I ordered the prosciutto pizza and the attached picture is said pizza. It was pretty tasteless presentation was poor two full slices of prosciutto placed on as an afterthought and the rocket leaves looked like a whoopsi buy from Asda across the road.

We were told our order would be ready within 30 minutes, it took 45 to get it ready and I was offered no explanation or apology.

The general service I felt for me was poor. This used to be a great place for food and I hope it returns to a quality restaurant.

6 of us went for breakfast with an aunt that is visiting from USA on Sunday 15th April. We were shown to our table really quickly but had a very long wait for our order to be taken. When it eventually arrived 3 of us received our order and about 10 minutes later the other 3 orders arrived minus everybody's tea and coffee for which we had to ask for 3 times and we also had to request toast twice. We arrived about 10.30 and we're completely igored after seating till about 11.15. We felt embarrassed to have brought an overseas visitor to your restaurant and it will be a very long time before any of us are back. Very disappointing.

Christmas Dinner...prepaid £150 for 3 Cristmas dinners at 17.30 on Christmas day..
The menu given away with me when I paid a week before the meal well dishes were missing on the day so no Bailey cheesecake or lentil and pancetta soup which we all wanted, portions were tiny and we left hungry and felt robbed at the price we paid..really expected more from a restaurant I love ...and to note I didn't see any senior staff on the day and when we got home we felt no need for a sleep after what at best could be described as a light lunch...Cecchini's!! From a regular, shame on you

I'm not going to have a rant but, this was not the Cecchini's I knew !! Things were very slow, orders were wrong and had to be sent back, MY lunch was pitiful. How do you get pasta, sauce & sliced chicken wrong ??? I don't know how you did it , but you did. Anyway, get the finger out 'cause at the prices you charge, this is NOT acceptable !!

Been about 7 times on an itison deal and always get half & half as in calzone & pasta but 2 night the head chef says you can't get calzone done like that on an itison deal lol,how hard is it 2 cut something in half, plus 3 big meatballs stuck in it rather than chopped, not a happy customer so ardrossan is a miss from now on,prestwick here we come

Had breakfast here. Was put off by rude staff swearing in the kitchen with door open and one beside us swore while we were having our breakfast. Breakfast was poor quality . Cheap sausage and scrambled egg was like boiled eggs and bacon was grey and soaked in fat. Would return for coffee and cake but not food as it is lovely place facing the marina.

Just back from a family Christmas dinner. This is our fourth year of going and we've never been disappointed. Efficient, friendly staff and delicious food. We'll be booking next year again as the whole family loves it. A big thank you to the hard working staff doing their best for us on Christmas Day. They are all stars :-)

Our 1st visit to Cecchini's and certainly won't be the last. A seat with a view over onto Ardrossan Marina was enjoyable, table service with banter from the staff. Food on arrival was well prepared and super tasty! Finished off with the Cecchini Sundae for two. Thank you for a fantastic evening in the Bar/Bistro.

My wife and I really enjoyed our meal here. It was a cold and blustery day but we got a great and warm welcome from the staff and sat watching the boats bobbing about in the harbour in the wind.

The menu has lots of options and we were able to find a good vegetarian choice for my wife to have.

Nice location at the Ardrossan Marina. They did us a great service providing soup/sandwiches/assorted desserts and beverages for a funeral 'tea' after my Father-in-Laws' internment. Great price and excellent service in a private room. Appreciate the staff and their hard work.

We have been dining at Anthony's place for many years and have enjoyed their Trattoria menu countless times. We had a family function, which the food and service couldn't be better. Service again was fist class thanks to Andreas, Mario, Ryan, Ashley and Jordan!

Service was very attentive. Friendly welcome , the food was beautiful. Generous portions. My partner says its the best fish and chips in town. I got the spezzatino (beef stew in red wine) meat very tender ehich melts in the mouth. Highly recommended.

Only table they could give us was in the middle of the small area downstairs. Staff were unhelpful and really couldn't care less if you suffered from anxiety etc. Prices are extortionate, ended up going to a different cafe and it was lovely.

This restaurant is in a great location on the marina in Ardrossan. It can be busy at peak times with drinking parties which detracts from the eating experience. The food was okay, but not exceptional, but the staff were friendly enough.

Lovely atmosphere, a little pricey, paying for the view instead of the food.
Wines and Ales are expensive.
Staff are very helpful and a relaxing atmosphere.
Views of the coast makes up for high pricing.

A really nice building. Good service however staff seemed a bit tense and nervous as there were too many customers and not enough waiters.

Nice place to pop by on your way to Arran, for example.

Underwhelming. Had the Vitello Milanese the veal was so thin. Could taste nothing but the black pepper and lemon breadcrumb. Dessert was bought in rubbish. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Excellent value. Didn't know about the special deals. Worth checking out. Staff could not have been more helpful. If the sun is shining upstairs is lovely!

Someone blocked the toilet with a huge shite. And it wasn't flushing. So I tried to snap it with a toilet brush.still no danger.so I left lol

Great little bistro opposite the ferry to Arran. We had a 'Sharer' plate and a drink whilst waiting for the ferry. Friendly staff.

Staff really nice the food was lovely too I went for lunch although paying more than other places I think the ambience made it acceptable

Located directly on a private harbor with sailboats and motorboats. Nice cafe to take a break and soak up the ocean breeze.
