Fantastic friendly service in this pub. Run by Bradfield Brewery with a large range of their beers on offer.
We were recommended to visit by the people at the brewery as it was Friday pie day. And, as the weather was horrendous, the thought of a pie for lunch was irresistible.
There were a choice of 4 pies, all served with chips and mushy peas, or potatoes and veg. Available in two sizes small for £6.50, large for £8.50. Each coming with any pint of their beers.
Amazing food, delicious and home cooked. Small, being plenty. Would highly recommend.

A really nice country pub, a bit on the small side but it is very comfortable the wood burner makes it feel very cosy with a relaxing atmosphere. The staff are fun and very friendly and helpful. The beer is great and they have a good range of other drinks as well. I would definitely recommend a pint of the farmers blonde. The food is homemade perfection, especially the steak and ale pie, and all the food is at a great price. I recommend The Nags Head to all my friends and have no difficulty in recommending it to anyone looking for great food and drink.

Some of the best ale the UK has to offer. Connected to the local Bradfield brewery, this pub offers around 8 farmer's ales on draft and more in bottles. It also does a lovely afternoon lunch menu.

Great in the summer is it's beer garden, which is a sun trap pretty much all day long. And if you don't want to step outside you can get a few frames of snooker in on the 3/4 length snooker table.

To some up, a great pub for all the ale lovers. Top marks from me.

The home of Bradfield beers even though the brewery is a good mile up the hill. It was very busy so I had to sit outside. I think it could do without the snooker table that takes up so much space that could be used for seating but the table is popular with local people. Great beer and good service & I know how good the food is as I ate there on my last visit.

While visiting from Canada we found this great pub down the street from our B + B. Great friendly local pub with great local beer at great prices. Dinner and drinks for 6 (2 kids) was 42 pounds and tasted great, may be the best meal we have had in the uk. Go but reserve a table if you do because it's busy for good reason.

Got to be by far my favourite pub out of them all. A lovely country pub with open fire in both rooms. A snooker table and nice areas outside to sit during the summer time. The food is amazing and the beer is a bargain! Any Bradfield Brewery's Farmers selection only £2 a pint! What are you waiting for?!

This is my favourite pub. This is The Bradfield Brewery Tap pub. There is always a good selection of farmers ales on the bar. I always take some home as I don't drink and drive. The pie with Hendersons Relish is to die for. The manager and staff are really helpful and friendly. I call in every two weeks.

To whom it may ever concern,

Upon arriving to this establishment my chums and I were rather hopeful of a promising, escapade ridden experience. However, we were indignant to the plethora of poor and rude service. Preponderant indeed was this service amid such hope of good pie and ale.

Fantastic ales from Bradfield brewery which isn't a surprise as the Nags' is the breweries tap! Always friendly. A new venture of theirs is the morning breakfasts from 9 til 12. Great local produce, if you go for large I hope you have a healthy appetite!

Odd place great beer but truly terrible service for food! I left having asked about the food board that is mentioned in the menu to be told their is no food board! And the young Lady then just walked off! I am local but would avoid unless just after a pint

A very good pie and pea special at an excellent price. £15.00 for a small, large pie & peas plus chips and 2 pints of beer or larger. It's an old type pub with a limited number of tables so booking is essential.

My second visit and both times the staff have been really friendly and efficient. The pie, chips and mushy peas with a pint for £6.95 are amazing value. I've tried a few of the beers and I've liked them all.

Great pint but awful customer service from barmaid who could be bothered to welcome, give any please or thank yous, no manners & just walked off after seemingly begrudgingly serving (for ID she had a nose ring

Pie and a pint for £8.50 stuffed!! A pint for £2 unreal if you are in the area you have to visit. traditional pub with friendly staff. be prepared to wait for a table when busy but worth the wait.

Friendly welcome, good beers at fair prices, snooker table, log burner blazing — what more could you want? Oh, how about home made steak pie, chips and a pint for six quid — that'll do nicely!

I love this place. Blows the mind of anybody from the South who visits - they can't believe the prices or the quality. Totally recommended for food, beer and atmosphere.

Food good but very intimate spacing for tables. Had conversations with diners on next table as it felt bad if they were sharing ours. You can't be shy here .

Great value home made pies, 3/4 sized snooker table and the occasional countryside smells outside. Can't forget to mention the brilliant Bradfield beer.

The draught stout is the best I've tasted. In fact all the draught ales in there are top notch! I love this pub I just wish there was one in North Wales!

Best pint of real ale I've had. From the brewery to the pub. Beautiful pub. Excellent staff. More importantly a place you'll feel welcomed.

Lovely pub on outskirts of Sheffield. Owned by Bradford brewery so you guaranteed a good pint here! Make sure to try the Belgian Blue. £2 a pint too!

Good pub food at a reasonable price. Some 'Pie and a Pint' deals. Middle son enjoys this pub with his mates for an inexpensive night out.

Great beer and food, my only slight bugbear is that it sometimes gets a little crowded (which is probably a good sign).
