If I could score 0 I would!

Way over priced for what is an old, dated, rubbish and noisy hotel due to every floor board squeaking.

On their website:
States it is a new hotel - False, website states it was refurbished to high standards in 2010 so is at least 3 years old, not sure what was refurbished as it is old and very dated.

States key card entry system - False, standard key only.

States the leisure complex has a heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna - Pool was cold and dark due to many lights not working, Jacuzzi has been filled up with stones and plants and the Sauna was not working, the safety equipment was damaged and looked as if it had been chewed by rats.

States they serve a full English and Continental breakfast - False, Continental consists of yogurt, juice and cereal, no fruit or meat on offer. Full English, they run out of beans, hash browns and gluten free bread despite knowing 6 months in advance they would need to cater this. The food was tasteless, normal toast was thin and cold and overall food was not worth paying for.

The staff were non friendly and miserable, no smiles or interactions, they just seemed uninterested in their guests, there was muttering and shaking of heads when you asked them for anything.

Stay away from this hotel completely!!

Came for a relaxing weekend and couldn't wait to immerge myself in the spa (swimmingpool, sauna and jacuzzi). The food was not great, just ok, presentation of it all with their staff was amazing, thats why its such a shame because you have amazing presentation but then the quality is poor. When I went to the leisure area to unwind, I came out more tense then ever....EVERYTHING WAS COLD....from the swimming pool to the sauna (got in at 80temperature, came out at 70...) and the jacuzzi was cold. That was really dissappointing as I went there for that. Not my first time that I come to bournemouth to an hotel with spa facilities and I haven't had any problems like this. A lady went to ask if someone could do anything about it, but nothing was done.
Real shame. Won't be coming again, sorry.

Having just stayed at the hotel for 2 days and 2 nights with my wife and 20 months son, the management and staff were exceptional friendly. They made embraced and accommodated son as funny and mischievous as he was during breakfast and dinner. I called reception to advise I am coming to get more jug of water and half way down someone was bringing it up already. If that is not good customer service I don't know what is.

The restaurant manager offered my son porridge for breakfast when I mentioned in a conversation how he wasn't eating the full English. That is great customer service.

I would definitely return to the hotel and make recommendations.

I went here for a spa day and some staff weren't overly helpful in main hotel reception .. the waiter who served us in restaurant couldn't of been more helpful and the ladys who do the massages were amazing and friendly .. only thing I would say is they should greet the guests on arrival and explain everything about there treatments before the alloted time as we were hanging around for 2 hours completely clueless on where to go what to do and even what treatments we could have and then we were looked at when we were just sat by a pool waiting in a wet costume that wasn't allowed because no one informed us otherwise .. other than that the massage made up for it.

It was ok....the bar and reception area has had some work done but the rooms are in dire need of a refurbishment! The beds are far too soft and uncomfortable, the shower was awful, has the smallest head Ive ever seen and is only a dribble! The bathroom looked like someone had punched a hole in the door and like it had stained blood running down it! The breakfast was nice, only grumble there was that plates and dishes werent cleared away, the manager eventually noticed this and swore at one of the issue with staff eating their breakfast but would be better if they waited until the guests had finished before serving up their own..

Stayed for a 2 night break through groupon, deal included evening meal and a bottle of wine on the first night, and breakfast both mornings. We had stayed on a room only basis before and paid more for that one night than we did for the deal. Room was small, but offered a see view, shower was next to useless, our evening meal was tasty but cold. Breakfast was really cheap, tasteless food, it was so bad, not only could we not eat it, but just had toast (which was thin and cold anyway ) for our breakfast the next morning. Staff though we're very good. Will not be going back.

The staff seemed nice. The rooms are tired and dated and there was a funny smell all round the hotel, there were plug ins in the room but it didnt mask it.The location is brilliant and there would be huge potential if it was updated to a contemporary hotel get rid of the old carpets and soft furnishings to something that can be cleaned as the material was stained. I went for a group do on 27-Jan-18 the salmon seemed microwaved and there was the weirdest lamb dish that was not well received. There should have been more time between courses as it was rushed.

Had a spa day for my sisters 30th birthday it was truly amazing. The spa where in contact with me from the moment i enquired about it!. The lady who does the spa arranged for more people to come in to help they put up banners, let me set up cakes and drinks. I could not praise them enough. Made my sister's day truly worth it. They say you get what you pay for, in this case you get so much more for such a small price. The breakfast and staff was also lovely enjoyed every moment!! Massive thankyou X

The room is tidy and the staff are friendly.
The breakfast is very nice, but dinner didn't seem to be quite so good although nothing to complain about. We had a large group - 5 families and they got a couple of orders wrong out of these but to counter this they discounted the bill without us having to even ask which is always nice.

The swimming pool is handy but a bit small so limited numbers can go in and we had to wait for others to come out.

We will stay again.

Good, professional service staff.
My room was clean with nice and quite new bathroom, yellow stain on ceiling, damage window curtains, spider web in corner , and bird poo on window. I have small feeling i got that room because i did use Groupon. Whole rest nice. Pool , jacuzzi, souna and mini gym hall was ok, i did enjoyed. Breakfast ok, acceptable, diner was nice , last night pork loin lovely, roast beef nice as well, night before not so well but still ok.

Just arrived today for two night's half board through Groupon, which includes a bottle of Prosecco. It's our Anniversary so I want everything to be good. Room excellent, updated, big, bright and airy. Pre arrival, I contacted hotel sevetal timed and even though I liaised with different staff, nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is packed so that is a recommendation itself. Not sampled the food yet, so watch this space.

Went with a Groupon deal. The staff were top class delivering excellent customer service they could not do enough for you. Food was very good, breakfast was excellent .evening meal came very quick and was very tasty. The rooms were slightly dated with a musty smell. But were very clean. The hotel was a 5 minute walk from town and beach. Very impressed would go back again. So well done for making our stay a memorable one.

Stayed for 2 night with breakfast dinner and spa access. Loved it. Room was beautiful, modern and clean. Staff polite and welcoming. The only thing I would suggest is a fan in rooms when it gets warmer as can get a bit stuffy although Window can be opened. In night a bit noisy so fan would be ideal. Husband's birthday present and he loves it too. Thank you trouble staff

The Bournemouth;

I say this as a Mediterranean 'li.
In every sense...

i would not stay here again. For the price of the hotel to stay the night you would expect something a bit more luxury. The rooms could do with updating. The breakfast is not good. Just would not stay here again supposed to stay two nights only stayed one. do not stay at this hotel for this price. You'll be better off staying in a Holiday Lodge.

Nice hotel, our double room was big enough to house a sofa too - lots of floor space. Housekeeping service visited every day and kept it looking great. Did not visit pool/spa facilities. Breakfast was pretty nice too. Only qualm I had was it didn't quite match up the the a prices - it was a great place at the price of an amazing place...

Hotel felt a little more up market then the usual of West Cliff. Room was clean and bathroom was decorated nicely. I was in a single occupancy room at a very cheap rate so wasn't expect the Ritz. My only complaint that my room 101 was extremely warm and I was unable to open a window due to a noise extractor fan. I would recommend

Stayed in a suite for 2 nights with dinner and breakfast. Room was clean and spacious with a separate lounge area, large bathroom and large bedroom. Good sized well stocked bar also offering snacks. Large restaurant serving great food. Pool, jacuzzi and sauna all clean and well maintained. Very friendly staff, would definitely stay again.

Stayed for a night and it was amazing! The staff were very helpful and their customer service was impeccable! Food was delicious and had a wide range of items to pick from! It is perfectly located and they offer leisure access! It was a great experience all in all and will definitely go back! Many thanks to the Trouville staff members x

Staff are superb, very friendly and more than helpful.
Location is excellent, only minutes walk from the center of Bournemouth and the beach / pier. Rooms are a good size and very comfortable and warm.
It is a 3* though it has a gym and indoor heat pool and jacuzzi.
Free parking
Loved staying here, thank you.

Location good. However, staff were very rude! Tutting as they walk round doing their job. Dont like your job, leave! Breakfast was terrible! Bathroom looked like something out of the 1960's! Wont be recommending to anyone! And to top it off, cleaner tried to kick us out of room early!! 1 night to many spent here!

I visited this hotel for a beauty treatment. The treatment room was nicely decorated but the rest of the hotel needs an uplift. There are plenty of lovely hotels and guest houses in Bournemouth - it's a great coastal town to visit - but I would recommend trying somewhere other than the Trouville Hotel.

Friendly staff, lovely food, clean ample sized rooms with ensuite bathrooms, cozy leasure facilities.
Good parking , Wheel chair access, ideally situated centrally for beach (3 minutes walk) & local amenities. Only let down by weak or intermittent wifi from the hotels many access points.

Don't ever stay in hotels always usually stay at a flat but thought we would treat ourselves .... room clean but very old fashioned and cramped ,deafening music from bar nearby until about 2am and then constant noise all night from drunk guests and slamming fire doors ... no sleep at all

The Trouville Hotel was OK, we came here as a large group for Christmas dinner. The food was tasty, if a little tepid and the car park wasn't quite as obvious as it looked but apart from that, the hotel is well presented, the staff are friendly and it has some good views.

A wonderful hotel. V clean and historically fascinating. Staff are so helpful. Getting luggage to and from car and room. Food worth every penny. Special thanks to Carlos, Diego and George. Visit the spa treatment. Well worth it. Would go again asap.

Another great weekend at the Trouville. The hotel staff are and always have been very professional. Even the new arrivals to staff seem to be of a higher level to that of other places we have stayed. Thank you
