Walberswick perfect place to take the children for a spot of crabbing! The tea shop has a courtyard garden but we found it to be very expensive this year. Two nice pubs in the village. The village green has a couple of swings and a slide and is perfect for a picnic on a nice day. The beach is fairly stony with the odd strip of sand and dunes. There is a rowing boat taking passengers across the river to Southwold every few minutes. Very nice area to visit I highly recommend.

Beautiful sand and shingle beach with sand dunes. If you come from the car park and turn left onto the beach, if your cab be bothered walk for 10-15 minutes along the top of the sand dunes and your will get to a much quieter part of the beach with slightly less steep shelving into the sea and more sand.

Beautiful place to visit. Great for crabbing, nice reasonabley sandy beach, ok parking and reasonably priced. Only thing I would say is it needs more food outlets ( like way more). Went to the nearest pub and was told food would be an hour!!. Bring a packed lunch.

If you have a pair of red chinos, read the Telegraph and like to visit gift shops full of high profit margin twee coastal bits and bobs and stroll on a gorgeous, unspoilt sand and stone beach, then visit tea rooms with paper doilies, this is the place for you.

Great crabbing on the two bridges... one family friendly with hand rails etc.. parking seemed reasonable... bit of a walk to the beach.. but very picturesque setting and lots going on...

Can't say we looked around much but it seems like a great place for grabbing with the kids or walking the dog. From what I saw it's not where you'd go to relax on a beach.

Great for catching crabs. Literally. And cheapish parking, nice sandy beachy bits, a lovely reasonable tea shop and a ferry row boat.
Really good place to visit.

Nice. Sea was warm enough for me to swim in it. Pebbles sore to walk on. Lots of people crabbing. Beach quite quiet. Nuclear power station visible to south. Scenic.

Great place for families and dogs. Lots of walks on beach and heath. Crabbing on bridge always loaded with people. The Bell nearby very dog friendly

Never know this beach existed. Stony/pebble beach with small sand sections. Kids loved it! No signs regarding dogs, so dogs on beach all year round.

Beautiful as always.A step back in time to when to when kids were kids. Crabbing and sandcastles and no mobile phones..

Best beach on a Sunny day. Shame theres no food or drink near the car park but there's a couple of pubs nearby.

We went here on a cold January day. The sandy beach was nice, but in the summer I'm sure it would be nicer.

Natural beauty, dunes, sand. Not much in terms of amenities but hardly the reason you would visit a beach

Post code took us to the wrong part, but daughter had a lovely time crabbing with brownies

Sunny but a brisk wind at the time of my visit. Car parking pricey in the summer.

Great day out for crabbing. Local shops sell crabbing gear at competitive prices.
