Had the most hilariously bad service ever here! Although others with us said they had previously had excellent service here. We had a waiter who spoke no English and a waitress having the worst day ever who was in a terrible mood! After having to get up and chase someone to place an order we eventually got drinks. The 'wine coolers' were just plastic buckets and no one seemed to be able to understand that we wanted ones that might actually keep the wine cool. We were told that they were 'from the freezer' and it was just because the restaurant was warm, even tho they were literally empty plastic buckets lol! Our £9.95 'antipasti' starters were 2 brown bags of bread (admittedly delicious) and one tiny pot of olive oil left on the table. After half an hour we questioned this and then we were brought a tray of some meats as well. Finally got our pizzas which were good! Took us over 2 hours and about 6 times asking to get water for the table. There was obviously something going on behind the scenes as there was a bad atmosphere among the staff and much confusion going on.
So all in all the food was good but the service terrible!

Unfortunately the food is nice, but the service/hygiene of staff isn’t great. There’s one lady in particular with a Blonde bob and glasses (a fair bit older than the rest of the staff), firstly I find she changes the prices as and when it suits (the other members of staff I’ve found don’t do this), so there’s not much continuity there. Also, the last time I went there, I waited about 10 minutes to be served, the same lady eventually stopped her tidying up to serve me, got my order wrong and then I ended up having a hair in the sandwich she remade for me...not great. I ended up just throwing the sandwich away to avoid having to wait another 25 minutes.

In many ways I love this restaurants and will be going back. I've eaten there twice now and the first time had a great experience where they managed a table of 12 very well, food was very good. The second time we were sitting in the back area which is much nosier and you are sitting very close to other diners. Whether this contributed to it or not, one of the starters and one of the mains were incorrect. The food that arrived was acceptable so easier to just eat it than complain but perhaps a few less tables in the back might help.

Lovely food, very overpriced! The staff are polite apart from the odd one, less can be said about some of the customers.

Unfortunately they don't have enough people on the tills – this can lead to large queues and bad organisation, which makes it all very slow. They need a proper a queuing system, its a bit of free for all. Shame.

New bistro at back of artisan bakery felt like walking into a little slice of Italy! Lunch choices were on display and Armano (the chef) talks you through them. Tasted great very reasonable (£6.95) for lunch all Italian staff so passionate about the food with good reason. Highly recommended.

Beautiful bakery. The bread is higher quality than almost every bakery I have been to in France and the uk. There is only one other bakery where I have tasted such well made bread. The cakes and patisseries are to die for. If I lived closer I’d definitely be a stone heavier.

Have been visiting for a number of years great sandwiches and cakes at lunch time and now with the addition of the pizza restaurant in the evenings I find myself here even more often! Excellent atmosphere at night, simple and quality food. Staff are always friendly

Wonderful artisan bakers and deli with an array of produce. Prices are what you would expect to pay for quality items. They also have a bistro serving food and drink which I did not use today but the menu looked tasty. Lovely helpful staff. I will be going again

Went for lunch the other day. We both had the spinach and ricotta cannelloni and it was to die for. Super friendly efficient service and a great atmosphere. It is open evenings towards the end of the week. Can't wait to return. Highly recommended.

Pizzas are perfect. I loved it, the kids loved it, my parents loved it. We booked at nine, and thought we might get the scraps and whatever they had left, but beautiful! Thanks

Lovely place. Wide selection of bread and patisserie. Small cafe area, only able to accommodate 8 small tables. The food is on the expensive side but the quality is excellent.

Always a great experience. The French bakery and the Italian restaurant a great mix. And the opportunity to practice my Italian is the cherry on the cake:)

Great place for a snack, cake and deli items, in or out. Artisan food products. Slow down, kick back and visit a non-corporate place.
