I usually go past this place on my commute to and from work everyday. One evening I couldn't be bothered to cook and so ordered pizza from San Gennaro through the deliveroo app, the pizzas were very tasty. I decided that it was probably worthwhile to pay the restaurant a visit.

We went on a Friday night, it was quite busy and there were a few families sitting and eating as well as large groups of friends. We had 2 pizzas, a beer and an Aperol spritz (nice and very large size!), and it all came to £20! The restaurant serves delicious pizzas and the pasta looks very nice. We were in and out pretty quickly but we intend to stay longer next time and have more courses. Don't judge this book by its cover, it's a great little restaurant.

My favourite Italian restaurant outside of Italy. Delicious pizzas- I can't resist each time so haven't tried anything else on the menu but it all looks great. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is cosy. It's usually got a good buzz about it but never full, so you can hear the other people at your table. Reasonably priced, especially when they were doing the 2 for 1 deal on mains. Feels and tastes very authentic. And great location for a post-dinner stroll in beautiful Battersea Park.

Just visited. Place doesn't look much from outside- entrance is just of the street and decor is simple. However , once inside- different story. Amazing food. Even my 5 year old cleaned the plate. Pasta - so authentic. Pizza - one of the best I've eaten in my life. Easily on same level as I had in Italy a year ago. Deserts- simple and good. Will definitely come back. Staff friendly. Well impressed. My new favourite Italian spot.

I went to this italian restaurant a few days ago with a couple of friends and my feedback is not one of the greatest.
The pizza I was given was not the one written on the menu (the ingredients were different) and both me and my friends had stomach ache due to the heavy dough (italian pizza should be much lighter and not that thick).
The price we paid was totally not worthy and I will definitely not go there again.

Fantastic Pizza and Pastas at this authentic family run Italian restaurant.
The gnocchi is simply amazing.
The service is friendly and speedy and the prices make it an inexpensive treat.
They do a great takeaway service if you want to go and eat your pizza in front of the tv instead :)

I completely love this place. It was my closest restaurant for two years. I've been lots of times on all days of the week and always had great value, delicious food in a really friendly, unpretentious atmosphere. My favourite pizzas in London. I highly recommend San Gennaro!

I love this place. It's my local pizza place, delicious food and good friendly service. Quiet and understated family owned place which makes a really nice change from your usual stylised Italian chains. The only draw back is that the menu is slightly limited.

San Gennaro, after a lot of searching, is my favourite place for pizza in London. There are a lot of great pizza places but the pizza here is on another level. Having recently visited Naples, the pizzas from San Gernnaro are of a similarly delicious standard.

Do give this place a try if you like authentic Italian pizza. This is nothing like what you get in Pizza Hut.

The price is quite reasonable, only the decor is letting the sight down a bit. But you are there for the food, so worth a try.

A nice Italian restaurant, we ordered a focaccia which we really liked and then pasta.

My partner's Marinara was amazing.whilst mine was ok.

Dessert was also very good.

I would go again.

The friendliest staff ever, be nice to them and be rewarded with limoncello shots. Good grub for the price and a relaxed atmosphere. Don't go here for a quick bite, take your time, become as laid back as the staff and enjoy your meal

I waited over one hour for my food. After my second request, I was told the the waiter only entered an order for bread and wine. The owner told me that it was my own fault for not being mor persistent with the wait staff.

This is one of my favourite pizza restaurants in London, really high quality food (this is an authentic Italian restaurant). Great price if you can get there early enough for the 1/2 price offer between 5pm and 6.30pm.

Love this place. I used to live opposite and miss it now I’ve moved away! Food is so so good and staff were very good with out dietary requirements. Next time I’m in Battersea I’ll stop here for sure.

Eaten here a number of times and never been disappointed. Eating at a family-run business like this makes a nice change from the chain Italian restaurants that seem to be prevalent at the moment.

Great sourdough pizza, one of the best we’ve ever had. Lovely service to match, the only wish I would have is to stop playing radio music as doesn’t go with the experience ;) Still must be 5*

Strange place. The kitchen staff is sitting in front of the door outside of the restaurant, smoking and staring at you. Not really welcoming not very representative for the restaurant.

If you are ITALIANI and want to eat a good pizza go here. Very good pizza. The restaurant should be slightly revisited but it does nothing.
I highly recommend it to everyone!

Very cosy Italian pizza place with good atmosphere and friendly Italian staff. Their pizzas taste of authentic Napoli style and are delicious so is tiramisu and panna cotta.

Absolutely love San Gennaro, authentic Italian food, lovely atmosphere! Feels like I am back in Italy when I eat here. Mine & my boyfriends favourite restaurant.

Great pizza. Sadly no goats cheese option. Only issue is the lighting. Which is too bright. Add a dinner switch to create instant ambiance and it would be a total gem.

Local very cute and friendly, the pizza was very good and also the salad with cherry tomatoes excellent.

Took my girlfriend out for a meal here and we both agreed it was absolutely fantastic: for the price, fast and friendly service and most of all the delicious pizza.

One of the small hidden gems in Battersea. The pizzas and pasta are great and you can find some very nice and polite service staff waiting for you inside.

When you are at home, or just want a good Italian meal.
Pizza, meat, all-round tiramisu, and with a customer-minded staff.

The pizza is incredible, the best in south London, definitely better than Franco manca, and the aubergine starter is incredible, highly recommend!

Good food. Big portions. Still the Italian restaurant for non Italians. Try arrabbiata and try spaghetti ai frutti di mare ;) You will enjoy
