Worst customer service I have experienced - guy walked off mid conversation, came back, I had to flag him down again, gave me no explanation as to why he walked off, and then asked me if I was using my phone to take pictures of the sweets as its not allowed - WHAT?!

Never ever, we bought different kind of sweets. They counted all pieces like the most expensive kind. We are not Indian, maybe they think we are stupid white tourist. So sad. It's not about quality, it's how is customers service, extremely poor.

Ambala predominantly offers their customers with an array of unhealthy, overpriced traditional sub-continental sweets mainly derived from sugar, milk and butter.

Sweets and snacks are typical Indian / asian fare and up to scratch. Shame same can't be said about customer service... Can be a bit hit or miss.

Famous Iconic Asian sweet shop brand that is a must at least a couple of times a year. Laddoo's and Rasmalai in a class of its own

Very well known for quality sweets. Down side is, the service tends to be slow and no free parking available next to the shop.

Clean and efficient. The mitai ('sweet meats' - Indian pastries no meat !) is fresh and of high quality.

Nice enough, but the Jelibi was a little disappointing this time around seeing as we travelled from DR London ☹☹

The worst sweets ever. If you throw the sweets to someone it will break their head. Extremely hard sweets.......

Very popular Indian sweet and savoury shop. Price slightly high but that's what you pay for quality.

Ambala is still one of the top for Indian sweets. There's also a few seatings available in-store.
