Nice place to visit with children, but please take note, this is an animal-less farm!! I didn't check beforehand and just assumed there would be animals at a farm. There aren't so it was a bit disappointing. However, if you go without expecting to see animals, it still makes for a nice afternoon with the kids. There is a decent outdoor play area, tea room and little farm shop, although not loads to but in there. We didn't eat, just had an ice cream, but the menu looked nice and reasonably priced. There was a tractor ride, but it was only for private birthday parties the day we went. I think some days it is open to the general public. Would visit again with a picnic.

This is a wonderful place to bring your family. It is a great opportunity for all ages to have fun and also to learn something about the English countryside. It is an organic farm, and as a result there is an emphasis not only on production, but on supporting British wildlife. The food produced in the cafe was delicious. It is fresh, tasty, and well-presented. The farm has been in the Clare family for many generations and I have found all staff helpful, jovial, and welcoming during my visits. It is a great example of an organic farm with plenty of activities for kids to get involved in, and something the local community should value.

Fantastic place especially when the maize maze is in opperation isnt too expsensive either for food and drinks. The tea room serves lovely fresh produce all locally sourced then the farm shop sells local produce from eggs, home made pies and sausage rolls, made on the farm condiments like tomato ketchup and peri peri sauce. The farm has a play area which is open to public and free to use then in the summer when maize maze is on there is a seperate area where u have to pay £27 for a family of 4 which includes maize maze, pedel karts, tractor rides, bouncy castles and frisbe target throwing.

Is the cafe empty for a reason?
Walked in to dispassionate, bored looking staff. Poor service skills with no joy and love behind what they were doing. The area was very slap dash. The homemade bake beans where vile and looked like sick! Asked for a extra cup and it was slammed down onto the table with a lot sighs when asked to have another plate so we didn’t have to have the beans. No knives and forks were given to eat the breakfast until asked. Resent paying for the food we had. Ruined what was meant to be a early mother’s day treat.

Brilliant place for little ones; lots of outdoor activities to keep toddlers entertained and larger inflatable attractions for older children. Parking is free and the food on site is excellent. Staff were friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. We visited around Halloween to pick pumpkins with my 3 year old. All round great place, in beautiful surroundings worth a visit !

A great place to come either for a trip out with the kids (plenty of play equipment, a great café), for seasonal activities (such as pumpkin picking or the maize maze), and for kids' birthday parties. They absolutely love the trailer rides behind the tractor and the staff are lovely. Thoroughly recommended.

I've visited Red House Farm a few times now and held my son's birthday party here today. The staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly. The food is delicious and obviously freshly made. The cakes are the best! It's just a really relaxed place with lots to do for children of all ages.

Cafe was very poor. Food actually inedible and apathetic service. Forgot to give us cutlery and didn't clear plates. Maize maze is good fun but expensive unless you take time to make the most of the other attractions like bouncy castles and climbing wall. Overall a good day out but take a picnic.

as a keen cyclist this place has become a must-go-to-pitstop for refreshment when open.... always had good service, great scones and the kids play areas look really good also.Farm shop looks well supplied/stocked though no experience of produce from there.Always a very welcome break going there......

Went for the maize maze and it was really good. Our 4 year old had a great time, I'm not sure that it would be such a great place out of maze season as there wouldn't be a lot there for younger kids. Good summer break day out as Dunham Massey is just round the corner too.

What a shambles the tea room was. More interested in packing in customers than providing a good service and managing expectations. Totally unprepared for a busy half term weekend. Pumpkin carving was good, but the day was let down by badly managed eatery.

Have a lovely time with my grandson today been a few times all sorts for little ones to do sandpits and diggers to pick up sand and two little Wendy houses. Slides and swings and a lovely tearoom with all fresh produce and the staff are really friendly.

Really enjoyed the pumpkin picking was great fun, the food is a little overpriced as is the drinks, but look - the parking is free, theres a good outside area (although the play equipment has seen better days) come along, bring a picnic.

The service was very slow. Came and ordered tea and hot chocolate with cakes. The cake arrived after a few minutes. The tea never arrived and the hot chocolate took 15 minutes. There was only three other people here that day.

Great place to come for kids parties. They are always well looked after by Johnny and his team and the kids always have a great time. Choices such as Nerf gun parties, gaming parties and laser quest too. Comes highly recommended.

Great for the kids, plenty to play with. Nice cafe/tea shop with a good selection and facilities for small children and toddlers. Watch out though: there are quite a lot of 'rides' which need coins to operate.

I haven't checked the website properly prior visit and was so so so disappointed as there are no animals at all :( playground is great, other few bits too, but at a farm I did expected more, sorry.

nice farm adapted to modern day opening its gates to the public to bring in money. this farm does it in a much better way than most, recommended with little nature lovers and farmers to be.

Good for kids, food is ok, we went to pick a pumpkin but they were very expensive compared to almost anywhere else. Been to lots of children's parties here which have always been good.

Food is excellent if a little pricey but good quality and portions. Good little play area and sand pit which are free to use. We have enjoyed some events there too like Halloween

A lovely visit last week in the afternoon with my mum, we called and had a coffee and shared a slice of cake, wow, the Rose & Pistachio was heavenly. Lovely decor and staff.

Nice little farm, a little expensive for what it is but a good day out. Tractor rides probably the best bit, but bouncy castle great fun too. Pumpkin patch is huge too.

A great place for the kids with some great activities. The playground is starting to look a little dated but all round great for adults to chill and kids to play

Brilliant day out. My 8 year old daughter had a fantastic time on the go karts, climbing wall, bouncy slide and then an hour in the maze. Fun had by all family.

Excellent locally grown produce. Good value meals. Play area and annual maze. Great place to bring young children. Popular with childminders and local groups.
