We went to visit The Rusty Bicycle on it's famous BurgerMonday. We arrived after 6pm and the place was filling up. There were 7 of us plus two buggies and babies! We had a table waiting for us and just enough space for two highchairs. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
Once we ordered at the bar, the food was with us in 5-7 minutes and that's great when 7 of you are kids
We enjoyed the food enormously! Burgers were succulent and rosemary fries are the best in Oxford! All the kids finished their meal but we run out of time for desserts...That means we will be back soon!
I massively reccomend The Rusty Bicycle with kids or without. It felt like a great place to chill out after a long day...
And thank you for everything!

A nice pub with good food. Standard cheeseburger ordered after waiting in traffic from Marston for half an hour and full Union Street car park. No jalapeños. Gherkin was outside bun, which betrays a lack of confidence in structure or ignorance about the importance of crunch in the equation of mouthfeel. Bun held its own structurally but didn't add anything flavoury to the party. Sauces were standard, chips with skin on a bit dirty without stealing the show. Lack of crunch is my main afterthought. Limp lettuce and onion. Lack of fruity punch from no jalapeños. I once had the most amazing hot white chocolate drink here.

Rusty Bicycle, Oxford - great little gem, hidden away in the back streets. Rustic, on-trend decor, great atmosphere going on with a mix of clientele. If you want a burger or pizza then this is the place to go, I recommend the Notorious P.I.G. and the angry texan burger. Gastro presentation. I'm not a huge fan of pizza but this was delicous, I will definitely be frequenting this place again. Probably the best pizza I've ever had at a pub/restaurant in the UK! I can not fault this place so it gets a 10/10 on all accounts.

Friendly statff, reasonable prices, lovely to hang out in the garden. There's no grass but there's some cool painted sheds with open fronts and areas under verandas with heaters. Lots of wood. Good menu with tasty pizzas. We go here very Saturday. Fun place. The only thing is on one visit he chips were way too salty, too salty for any of us three to eat. They gave us the money back though. Even as a pub it does tea and cake any time.

A couple of days' stay in Oxford meant we were hunting for a tasty dinner near to our B and B and this place was good enough to come back for a second time. Quirky and busy, it has a sizeable garden with punningly named sheds containing benches and tables. The food is fabulous and served surprisingly fast considering the crowds, wide range of beer and drinks and a good atmosphere.

Good pub with reasonably priced food and drink. Their craft ale and lager are particularly good. Staff are generally friendly. The sheds in the garden are a nice touch which give a nice trade-off between drinking outside and having shelter from the elements. The only downside is that it can be a little too popular at weekends, making it hard to find a seat and get served.

Used to be a 5-star pub, but the recent approach to menus and pricing makes it far less desirable to visit. Beers are okay (albeit a little samey), the atmosphere is great, and the food is reasonably consistent... but if you pay a tenner for a burger, do you really want to have to pay another three or four quid for chips to go with it? No? No, I didn't think so

Nice pub, good beer including guest ales for a bit of variety. Pizza are wood fired and very good. Went recently to find that chips no longer come with the burger, which makes the burger feel expensive at £9, unless you're there on 2 for £10 Monday. Gets busy in the evening, so seating can be short, but quieter in the day so you can play a game of Scrabble.

Great little local with yummy pizza and burgers. The wings are yum too. It gets quite busy these days so sometimes it's hard to find a seat & it's lost one star as sometimes the regular draught beer taste awful. Maybe they need to clean their lines more often... but we still love it there.

Fantastic pub. Burgers are amazing and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Monday nights are busy so if with kids get there before 6 or be prepared to wait a bit. Is definitely worth the wait. Food delicious. Will be revisiting on our next trip to Oxford

Looks quite small from outside but it’s really big from inside. V busy. V good for local community. Out door seating available. V good lighting decoration outside. It has a public toilet just at the entrance of the pub which is a great help to the nearby people.

Nice place, popular and child friendly. Food only OK, pizza bases were a bit undercooked, wings tasted like they were par boiled then finished off in oven and burger a little under seasoned. I liked the 'bottomless coffee'

Great bar, excellent staff. This pub has a wonderful atmosphere and the pizza is highly recommended. We tried some of their home-made shots and wasn't too impressed with the taste, it is cool that they make the effort though!

Food took 45 minutes to arrive and was pretty lacklustre when it did. Chips weren't hot or crispy and the pizza was very thin and not good quality. This place is out of the way and simply not worth the special trip.

It's my local! Would never have set foot in it before it became The Rusty but now its a destination of choice. Could do with a wider range of beers but the food is pretty good. The bicycle motif runs through the pub

The Rusty B is a comfortable, hip hangout for the neighborhood. Good selection of cask ales and craft beer. Nice simple menu. Good seating outside with sheltered booths too. Have gone back several times and would again.

Reliably good burgers and Pizzas. Beer selection is good but doesn't change much: they could choose more varied guest ales. Staff are always busy but very quick, efficient and polite. Bring back the pulled pork!

As an America, this place has the best French fries and food in all of England, always nicely busy, great atmosphere, staff, food, alcohol. Beautiful beer garden. Will be coming back

Fantastic food, good beer, lovely home made drinks (wonks are highly recommended), excellent pizza, great take away, and a fun quiz night. What more could you want in a local?

Very happy to have this add my local. Everything from the doorstop sandwiches to the mains and rosemary and cheese chips are excellent. Good selection of local cask beers.

Suffering, following a seriously good stag do, the breakfast and bottomless coffee well and truly sorted me out. The atmosphere was informal and the staff friendly.

Great staff, good food and excellent beer. Nice open atmosphere - warm and inviting in winter & airy in summer. Worth wandering out from the centre of town.

Nice beers and excellent people-watching spot away from the crowds. A non-waste pop up market takes place here every Thursday (including laundry detergent).

Friendly local pub, with a great selection of drinks, and a cracking menu - offering vegan and gf options. Really cute courtyard and cozy feel inside.

5 by Ally McHugh Review source

Hipster pub with a certain vibe. The food and drinks were very good though. Not my type of pub but I can see the attraction for the younger set.

A really nice pub with welcoming atmosphere. Good to drink in but also serves good food. Watch out for special day deals on burgers and pizza.

5 by Simon Barnard Review source

Great for half price vegetarian and vegan pizza on weekdays, but I thought in general the prices were quite high, if not atypical for Oxford.

4 by Tom Review source

Local pub with a nice Oxford vibe. Said that the food and drinks are what you would expect in a pub, no disappointments no pleasant surprises.

Quite a hipster pub. Reasonably expensive, although the half price burgers on Mondays are a good deal. Normally difficult to find a seat
