If feels like being in a private Venezuelan kitchen. Hearty food, perfect-sized portions, the owner, pregnant in October, advising on what's best for you according to your likings and hunger not trying to sell you the most expensive dish. All of that makes you believe that you are actually in her house, waiting for her to show off her mother country cuisine. Food is slow-cooked, no added sugars, the plantain is delicious so is the wet corn wrap in the pic below (with 3 kinds of meat in it). I will go again and try some other dishes. Venezuelan cuisine is different from the European one and this place makes you want to come back to experience more.

This is my favourite cafe so far in Crystal Palace! The food is very different and interesting and it's a proper foodgasm for breakfast or lunch. The service is superb, friendly and attentive with free shots of their delicious smoothies making me buy a full glass (damn them, but it's so delicious!). The stewed meat dishes are incredible and love the plantain and black beans. My husband is the only reason I'm not here every weekend (as he wants to explore other places, but I can't think of anywhere that would be better!)

Family atmosphere, very friendly owner but above all authentic flavors. I tried a domino arepa, fried cassava and blackberry juice. The truth was the same as when I was in Venezuela. I will return to try the Tequeños and the hallaca.

It tasted like what I actually did when I was in Venezuela. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. I tried a filled arepa (domino, with beans and cheese), fried cassava fingers and blueberry juice, but I will have to come back for more (tequeños and hallaca).

What an incredible place! Imagine my delight when, having just moved to the area and ventured out to explore, I stumbled upon Mi Cocina Es Tuya! The food was incredible, Alexis and his team are so friendly and have brilliant levels of customer service, and it's a delight to sit in there, admire the decor and culture and feel really at home. Me encantó... Alexis me hizo sentir como en casa. Sin duda vuelvo en cuanto pueda, la próxima vez por cocteles y baile! (y aun más arepas)

Delicios food, but I guess the decor needs the upgrading badly. Enjoyed empanadas and cassava fingers as well as pulled beef main and beef+chicken+pork in pastry for main. Very nice sour sap juice. Would go back. The only downside is very uncomfortable tacky furniture and dated decor. But if you are not after a glamorous place (or not on a first date ;) and just after good filling hearty food, you will not be disappoited.

Best breakfast in the world is Venezuelan! Looking for a good breakfast where we found a bit rich of Venezuela in a London corner. Mrs. Mary and Mr. Alexis made us feel at home with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, freshly made empanadas and arepas of various fillings made us remember what our beautiful land incomparable. Mi Cocina Es Tuya, a restaurant 100% recommended!

This is a little comfortable corner reminding me of home. Everyone that I've taken to this place has absolutely loved the food - you will never leave here hungry! The owners are a family, so you can always count on getting a personal service. I particularly would recommend the arepas, pabellon criollo and some chicha to wash it all down! Divine...!

Being Venezuelan living in the UK for more than 38 years I do miss Venezuelan food really badly from time to time. Whenever I think about Arepa or any other Venezuelan dish I always think about mi cocina es tuya. Every time I visit y he food is outstanding with a real Venezuela flavour. I fully recommend this place; great food and great prices!

Really just the most fantastic, charming little restaurant with genuinely delicious, home cooked Venezuelan food. The owner and his family are so friendly and welcoming, and clearly love what they do.
For me now the only real reason to visit Crystal Palace. Make it your number 1 lunch or dinner spot in the area!

Me and my girlfriend (who is from Venezuela) love this restaurant. The food is great and the people that own it are lovely too. I have eaten in the restaurant and also we have ordered via deliveroo and always the food is great! Will be a regular from now on for a long time I think. Thanks you x

Extremely friendly, delicious food. Helped us select dishes and all food was delicious and filling! We had the empanadas and Tostones to start followed by national dish Pabellon criollo. We booked in advance as it is a small place and was filled with locals so glad we did!

I love this place. It has the best atmosphere, the most genuine and fantastic staff. Their food is astounding and their rum, well it's from the home land of Venezuela, what else can I say. If you ever get a chance to drop by you will not regret it.

The service was terrible, the food was cold and lacked flavour. It was just an overall bad experience. I'm not planning on returning and would not recommend as a place to go eat.

Really bad service.

Finally went in after a few previous attempts, when it had always full. The place is quite small, but set up quite cozy. The food is really good, portion size is generous and the taste is FULL. Highly recommended,

I deeply love this place, the food, the service and the beautiful family that owns it! I’m Venezuelan and proud to say this is the best in London that offers our delicious food and feels truly like being home.

Beautiful food and atmosphere. They do great themed evenings too with live music. Local and family run cafe with really friendly staff and community feel. One of my favourite places in South London.

Incredible food and service, could not be more authentic, to highlight the arepas, the yucca and of course not the Tequeños! How rich! You can not miss this jewel in Crystal Palace!

In this restaurant is supposed to have gluten free food, but not true, all food gluten free is contaminated with glutem because the same oil to fry everything with and gluten free.

Really nice please, I was feeling homesick and in this short trip I felt right back at home, only for an hour or so The food was nice, very generous portions, but a bit expensive!

A Venezuelan restaurant, so food a little out of the ordinary, but very tasty. Friendly manager / staff I used tastecard so bill was very low. Only opens for lunch most days.

Would give 5 stars if it was a bit cheaper. Expect to spend around £30 per person. Try as many things as you can. Including the juices. Everything is so good!

We love the cachapas and arepas. The best part is the relaxed environment and the books about Venezuela, never been to the country but feel like I have!!

I had breakfast (criollo) here last week and it was so good I came back for lunch.. aaaand back again today. Great portions, everything's delicious.

Fantastic find for some authentic Venezuelan food. Great prices and friendly, attentive service. The hot chicha (a rice drink) was especially delicious.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but we had some stunning food here and staggered out very satisfied. Delicious and reasonably priced.

A bit too greasy for me - loving staff though - lots of black beans and rice in the dishes - so certainly traditional but not my cup of tea

Authentic latinamerican taste, and I don't mean your typical mexican. The favours are from Venezuela, Colombia, maybe even Ecuador.

Good food but the service was a bit slow because the place was too busy and only 1 person was serving. But the food was great
