Hmmmm... ok, so this a basic Premier Inn, so don't expect too much. Parking can be hit and miss as spaces are tight and some of them at awkward angles. Some didn't bother using a bay at all and just dumped their vehicle where they wanted, so advice to all is park considerately please to avoid inadvertent accidental damage.

Bev, covering the front desk and addressing any queries or issues we had, is a credit to the Premier Inn brand, so thank you!

Sadly, Bev is the only great thing we have to say about this Premier Inn. Bev provided two extra pillows for us, along with a couple of single duvets to soften the springs felt through the mattress adorning a put-you-up bed. The toilet pan/cistern connection leaked, which meant we not only had water seeping in from the base of the toilet cabinet, but it smelt like a sewage plant in the room. The extractor fan was old and noisy, so not an option to leave on all the time. Bev was off the next day after we arrived, so a colleague had addressed the request of resolve with the maintenance crew, who are an external company.

Nothing was fixed during our two day stay, so towels were used to block the huge gap under the toilet door and also to soak up the foul water from around the base of the toilet.

It doesn't end there! The occupants next door seemed to enjoy partying all night and wake early, screaming and shouting at one another. It was a family by all accounts, as the walls aren't the thickest to dampen hearing their every raised word. Music channels on the tv were turned up loudly too next door, so needless to say their wake up noise at 6am ruined our stay further.

Bev was great again and was mortified we had to endure not just the smell, but the unsurprising noise from the room next door. Already had complaints? Many, like us, may well be asking them to honour their 'Great Night Sleep Guarantee' then.

Thank you Bev, but sadly this Premier Inn won't be hosting us again any time soon.

Good hotel. Clean comfortable room (If not a little date - not yet upgraded)
Beefeater next door
Only issue is the cleaning staff if you're a night worker. They're like a herd of elephants crashing around the hotel from 08:45 till midday. No use stating at check in your a night worker as no effect is made to pass the info to the cleaning manager.
So if night shifting I suggest the other premier down the road as it's a lot quieter and more modern too.
2 stars purely because I was getting woken up every morning.

Very basic hotel so don't expect much only good for stop over if you are traveling. Car park was full. Receptionist was ok wanted two rooms together was told you should have requested so didn't get. There is a beef eater next door again don't expect good service as they want you out asap once they serve you. Bar was very good and you can eat there better than eating in the restaurant. Breakfast was good. Couldn't sleep well as found the bed uncomfortable but shower was great. Only go knowing this is a basic hotel.

1 star but actually 0 due to the shocking room condition and dismissal by on site staff.
The bathroom had so much mold on the walls it made the room stink. I would not let me kids use it because of this. Good job we had a wedding party with other rooms to use
It just feels a very very worn out non loved facility. Room number 10 and I have plenty of pictures to support the review. All reception could do is provide a number. Well I will be calling that Monday BUT UNTIL THEN FIND ANOTHER LOCATION people. £90 wasted

Expensive for what you get. No heating or air conditioning in room, they definitely need updating. The Beefeater restaurant struggles to have enough staff. Food not served in bar at times because of staff shortages. Food was below standard most of the week. On one occasion we could not order food in the bar and the restaurant is full, cannot book a table, this is really annoying when you have prepaid for food. Only gets 1 star because you cannot post giving 0 stars.

Had a very good night's stay at Coombe Lodge Premier Inn (Croydon South) last night. We were greeted by the lovely Gemma, who made us feel more than welcome and gave us all the information needed for a pleasant stay. Our room was beautifully clean and comfortable, and the staff we spoke to as we left this morning were also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend Coombe Lodge to anyone looking for a good night's rest in a lovely environment.

Disgusted with this premier inn. Woken up by builder's every day. Wasn't told the builder's were on site when making this booking. Been staying in premier inn hotel's from Inverness to Cornwall and I have never been so angry with staff so much as at combe lodge. Complained about builder's every day and wasn't even offered a room change. We'll premier inns loss Will be cancelling my Account with them today and never use them again.

As an old example of how Premier used to be this shows how far the new format had come. It is about time this one also had a refurb. In the last couple of weeks we stayed at 4, yes 4, Premier Inns: Croydon Central 4 out of 5 no car park;Cheltenham 3 out of 5 needs a refurb; Rhuddlan 3 out of 5 again needs a refurb; Croydon Coombe
Lodge 2 out of 5, no proper security locks and very tired

Always clean and great service. Food good, cooked to order. The rooms want to be updated, and I suppose they will in time. Only problem, to eat, you have to leave the hotel and walk at least 200 yards to the Inn, on same site and beside the hotel. This is not under cover, so, if it's very wet, you will get to the restaurant soaked. Still, it doesn't seem to put anyone off

Hotel is in a great position for my work. Its going under a massive reconstruction and updating work and looks scruffy. My room was lovely and clean but sadly no aircon and it was very hot all night (hottest day of the year) food in resturant was great and good value and breakfast was excellent. Staff were lovely and very approachable and hard working. Only downside needa air con

Room was plain but adequate. Bathroom was somewhat small but clean. We also made use of the disabled room, which was perfect as it had a low bed and a disabled toilet.

Traffic noise was minimal to non existant.

Breakfast at the beefeater next door was good.

Less than 2 miles from South End restaurants and nightlife, plenty of parking. A little tired but comfortable bed, clean towels, linens and friendly staff. Some building work currently on restaurant next door. I would use again.

Reliable premier Inn formula, clean quiet and tidy rooms, breakfast is easy, offering all 5 food groups- fruit, yoghurt cereal, toast, and coffee. Loved the mock Tudor wooden decor, floor to ceiling carved oak, very gothic.

Comfortable and quiet in great location and setting with a beefeater restaurant next door. Friendly staff always available. The room decor is the old style but is very clean and has everything you need.

Stayed here overnight recently. Could probably be due a refurb, but it served it's purpose. Nothing outstanding about it, but also nothing really wrong either. Fine for an overnight stay.

Comfortable hotel, a little more aged than some of the other hotels of theirs. Great service and the pub next to the hotel is reasonably priced and has a nice beer garden. Would recommend.

If you're a Vodafone user then you will not get any coverage anywhere in the hotel or adjoining pub or within 1/4 of a mile. Other than that - it's a Premier Inn!

Would benefit from a refurb, rather old and tired rooms for a Premier Inn, but much better than a lot of the alternatives in the area and there is parking on site!

Good price for comfortable and clean rooms. Also there was a decent breakfast. Plugs were a but far from the beds but not really a bit issue. Would recommend.

We had party at Addington palace, so we decided to stay at premier inn. Tidy & clean. Good customer service. Very quiet place. Overall everything good.

Room 27, very dusty, hotel itself very tired. Poor sound proofing. Only sockets on opposite side of the room to the bed. Parking was free at least

Classic style rooms but still comfy and usable. Lacking power side of bed which always a down side. Quiet hotel with great resturant on site.

Worst phone signal ever meaning everyone uses the WiFi. If you need to communicate with people don't even try to stay there.

Staff where very helpful and friendly and the meal in the pub next door was very nice. Could do with a refurbishment though.

1 night into 2 week stay. Seems ok so far. Not yet been decorated/updated as some other P Inns have been.

Stayed 3 nights, food is excellent, staff friendly. Hotel rooms are a little dated but comfortable enough.

Does what it says on the tin. Beefeater next door where breakfast is served was dirty and run down
