We made a reservation for Sunday lunch at The Owl, as we were to be visiting family staying at the nearby holiday park. We received a good welcome on arrival and were shown to our table where we were given menus & advice that 2 menu items were no longer available, however 3 different Sunday Roast options were, along with some other specials. Everyone was very pleased with their selections & it was a pleasant visit overall. A busy lunch time service, but it did not feel rushed in any way. Wi-Fi connectivity is available to patrons of The Owl.

Had some food here with the family on Thursday, service was very friendly as well as professional. I had a steak & ale pie, it was handsome big chunks of tender steak in a lovely gravy, missus had ham egg and chips, which she said was very nice and the kids had pasta from the kids menu, theirs looked Delicious and they thought it too after polishing off the lot.

Altogether very pleased and well recomended.

Really good place to eat or just enjoy a relaxing drink after a hard day on the beach.
Be sure to book as this place fills up quickly particularly in the warmer months.
The food is very good and the service is excellent, I was very impressed that the steak I ordered came up as I'd ordered.
I went there last for my birthday and was impressed that the food was delivered to our table at the same time.

Pub seemed to be popular with the locals. We came here to eat after a stroll on the beach. They had a Sunday roast on the menu. We had the squid and white bait sharing platter to start. Reasonably large as a starter to share. Tasty comfort food. For mains I had the sea bass. Wasn't the biggest but was tasty. It's not 'gastro pub' fayre but we were happy with our meals. The service was attentive.

Great pub on the beach. Visited in winter so was quiet and cosy. Were staying in the house next door and one of the local barflies offered to bring round some pub dinner for us later as we couldn't leave sleeping kids alone! Had a cracking Sunday lunch the following day with great service. Fire crackling away and footie on TV but not too loud so as to overwhelm the atmosphere. Great place.

The staff are lovely here and the food and beer are too. We had my Mums 80th birthday lunch here. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the food took such along time. When it came though it all came together.
The next day a few of us went back and had a roast dinner, which was delicious and came promptly.

We booked a table for a dinner after a day at Camber beach. After throwing the menus at our table, we've been told that no orders will be taken from us in next 15 minutes as we came too early, and that the other two pre booked tables will be served first. We could not stand that attitude and left straight away.

Stayed at pontins site and didn't like the look of the restaurant's on site. After walking down the road we discovered 'the owl'. Very clean and presentable, staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was absolutely outstanding. Would definitely visit again.

We have been having meals at the Green Owl, for many years.
The food is always first class, with excellent service.
Staff are all very friendly. If you want to watch football & have
a drink, this is the only place in Camber.

We visited here just before Christmas for dinner. First time. Was lovely. Staff all really friendly and accommodating with our dog (he even received his own gourmet sausage appetiser!). Food amazing. We will definitely be back when we next come to Camber.

Cozy but very well attended even in high season Pub. The service was very attentive and the burgers and fish and chips very tasty. Also a good selection of real ales available. The price level I would classify in the upper middle class.

Awful food! Staff friendly but not all there. Food arrived and sent it back imediately - was asked do you want to take it home as you've paid for it? I almost laughed! You're safe with the beer - just stay away from the food.

Wonderfully friendly bar staff welcome you into this lovely pub, with a good selection of ales (4 on tap), wood fire, unobtrusive sports, and lots of cozy nooks to hide away in. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Excellent food and drink in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Fish and chips genuinely fantastic. Only minor was no changing facilities or high chairs, but they were very understanding of the rather grumpy toddler we had in tow!

Relatively average restaurant. The hotel part clearly lacks maintenance. Toilet brush full of paper. Shower hose very dirty. Important limestone in the toilet.
The reception is very good and the place is very nice.

Made to feel like we had to leave over parking of the car, rather than politely asking if we could move it just got starred at by a member of staff!

Not very pleasant at all, will not be returning.

Really nice atmosphere with a decent seasonal menu. Make sure you book reservations if you're intending to eat as it's one of the few places near the Camber Sands coast that serves food.

Lovely and welcoming staff, great food, impeccable service. Best fish and chips I've had in a while, refined and well presented. We came back for another meal the very next day.

Had a Sunday roast here and loved it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was really good. Would definitely recommend it and will be sure to eat here again if we visit Camber again.

Good service. Right by the beach although beach isn't visible as there are steep dunes to walk over to get there. Very accommodating of group of us with prams. No baby change.

Great food, great beer, great fire, great staff, great with dogs. Been coming to Rye and Camber for the last 4 years and it wouldn't be a holiday without visiting The Owl.

Fitted us in on a very busy Easter Sunday! Delicious roast dinner with all the trimmings. Even provided a bowl of water and a dog treat for our four legged friend.

We were a mixed group of ages and tastes and all got exactly what we wanted, which included some tweaking of the menu. Everything was delicious. Service was good.
