The only reason to not give it 5* is you can not always find a seat. There is always a very good or the best vegan option. Service and quailty does not depend on the owner being present. They have WiFi.

I said to the Austrailan owner there was a comedian 70? years ago who it was said of him - it is being miserable that makes him happy. It made the owner smile. Should I delete this comment?

My partner went here and said the food choices were good and extensive. She said they could pay separately with ease too. However, there was a kerfuffle with seating a group of 6, and the staff weren't accommodating or supportive. Other than that, good place for a sit down lunch.

I enjoy a coffee here. The service is very good and seams popular with an older crowd. The decor is simple yet homely. There are a large number of books to read and gest coffee available. The food is freshly made and there is a table service.

Perfect for brunch. Great coffee and food selection. Limited seating so arrive early if you don't want to wait.
For lunch the falafel burger is not a burger, just a falafel and some flat bread- be warned!

Really lovely little cafe for breakfast. Smashed avocado and poached eggs were delicious and the portion size was just right. Brilliant service too. Only gripe is a cup of tea is sooo expensive at £2.10!

Excellent food - perfect for any breakfast or lunch. The chefs have a knack of giving every dish that extra flavour. Inexpensive and always the perfect coffee and friendly personal touch from the staff.

Food's lovely, atmosphere is good, but it's a little cramped. I should explain, I'm 6'3' and 17 stone, some other people looked quite comfortable, just a bit tight for me.

I love this place! Breakfast is a must - these guys do the best eggs in town, but everything on the menu is a winner! Great coffee, delicious cakes and a fab, relaxed atmosphere...

Best coffee in town (they use Monmouth Coffee, but know exactly how to get the best from it too) and wonderful breakfast dishes. Especially the Eggs Royale and Melbourne Classic.

Fantastic food. We found this on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. Not much room so be prepared for a wait , but it will be worth it. Try the banana bread toast ;)

The staff are really friendly and the food is amazing at a very reasonable price. Also the best coffee in town. I recommend the breakfast stack and a flat white

Small cafe. Good food, reasonably priced. Service a bit slow as it's always busy so be prepared for a bit of a wait

Food was good, but we were made to feel like an inconvenience by one member of staff as we have an 18 month child.

Great coffee spot for that authentic Australian brew, using Monmouth coffee too. The brownie was perfect!
