As with many petting zoos / animal farms I was expecting a few hutches with overpriced food and limited facilities. However, All Things Wild is definitely not this! A brilliant place to go and spend the day with the family. Friendly welcoming staff, clean facilities and plenty to do. Soft play for the littleuns, lunch was reasonably priced (although the ice cream is a bit dear!). The animal handling / interaction is great and there is a large variety to see.

Thankfully it has a small business rather than a large corporate feel. You can see they invest well in the animal welfare, enclosures and facilities for visitors. There are lots of indoor activities, such as the pedal tractors, 2 soft play areas, reptile area, wildlife exhibit, cafe and shop along with party area and puzzle area. Outside there is plenty to see and do, feeding deer, handling animals, the meerkat feeding and lemur walk through all add to the enjoyment of the place.

The entry price for adults is fair considering the facilities and time you can spend there, our daughter is a bit young yet to make full use of ways available but for under 3's it's free so no gripes there! I think another price bracket for 3 - 7/8 year olds could help with younger families who may not be able to take advantage of everything there but it's only a small observation.

Well done for a well thought out centre and I will definitely visit again!

Great day out with kids. Wear wellies if it's been raining, lots of splashy puddles for kids to enjoy. Great walk around dinosaur fields, and kids really loved playing with diggers, helicopter and finding the dinosaur fossil in the sand. Dino barn was good too, with good exhibition of Ice Age.
Didn't spend much time with the animals, disappointed the wallaby walk wasn't open. Soft play looked clean, we went in about 4pm when, although still busy, probably not as packed as earlier during the day. Still some rough older kids, the soft play isn't supervised by staff, and as usual neither by parents!! Porcupines and meerkats were fun to watch together. Didn't try the food, but slices of cake looked good, and lots of variety. Free squash for kids in soft play which I thought was excellent. Cup to self serve tea was £1.60 - a bit steep considering it's help yourself out of a machine. Would return again, maybe in a few months time, as we didn't get to do everything, we were there for approx 4 hours. Lots of picnic benches in different locations which was lovely to stop and have a snack with the kids around the venue. Entry for one adult and 2 kids was just over £32, and I think that was OK. We had a good day, but if it had rained a lot, it might not have been so good as a lot is outside.

A great place to go if you want to spend an entire day with the kids.

It was easy to get to and there was ample free parking when we arrived.

The entry prices were at first thought, a bit pricey but trust me, when you get in, there is absolutely loads to do!

You can see a fairly large variety of different animals inside and out. You can even see dinosaurs, sadly though, they were not real. There is a huge soft play area and a park area too.

The cafe food was nice but it was expensive so probably best to bring your own food.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. It's nice to see good customer service in places like this.

Definitely going to go again!

This place is fantastic. There is so much for the children to do. I would say it is best suited for primary school aged children. It used to be cheaper, but still...for £10 for kids and £11 for adults it is worth it and what I like is it seems that the increased entrance cost is going towards the park. They have recently had a large play area installed for children aged 5-14yrs. The only reason I have not given the 5 stars is because the stamp trail is looking very tired, with a number of the stamps broken and missing the numbers to tell the kids which is which. This is the same for the paper press trail as well...they are just not labelled any more. But this is an easy fix and it will be back up to 5 stars for me!!

The Trust is now under new management and in the process of reopening.
Our family had a great afternoon - watching the day old chicks, stroking the barn owl and the young meerkats. The new indoor soft play area is a great addition in place of the old stuffy museum. Although not all the areas are yet reopened, there was still plenty to see and do. Another improvement is the hardcore paths in place of the old muddy trails. Although we ran out of time, the tea shop looked very enticing.
The main improvement we'd like to see is a greater range of birds for sale. We'll definitely be back.
Thanks to all the friendly helpful staff for regenerating the Trust.

Well ! We, the family, all eight of us including the toddler arrived at about 11a.m.It was a lot of walking but plenty of places to sit at tables and take a snack or have lunch. It was overcast but not too chilly. There was so much too see..so.many types of animals birds even insect life. There was a lovely huge section with lifesize dinosaur's etc.which the children loved.and some sort of leaflets for children which they had to fund at various points. We all went in on a family ticket which saved some money. We emerged at the end about four pm
still.not having seen it all which means that we ,at some point, will go back again. All in all a very happy time

We had a brilliant day out for our sons 4th birthday. It was horrible weather but we braved the dinosaur trail which was brilliant, went to the barn to pet the farm animals and went on the train to see Father Christmas.
There was so much to do we didn't get round it all due to weather but the indoor facilities made up for that. Two soft play areas, an indoor tractor riding area, a sand play area, activity area for crafts etc and a large room hosting a child's birthday party. We also have a one year old who had an equally good day. Can't wait to go back with better weather!

All Things Wild is a all year round, all weather family attraction. It is a fantastic place to visit. They have a wide selection of animals and they also have a dinosaur field with over 25 life size dinosaurs! If you don't fancy walking around they sometimes have their land train up and running, perfect for little legs.
They have plenty of talks which will include animal handling- they also have craft sessions and hold different types of events during certain times of the year. They have an indoor beach, soft play area and cafe too! The staff are also friendly and helpful!

We visited here today and my grandson really likes it as it has lots for the children to do. He loves the Dinosaurs and the new Jungle mayhem play area. I was really annoyed though because as my grandson was on the go-carts I witness to young boys deliberately ramming the smaller go-carts into the tyre barriers and the one lad broke the wheel on the go-cart he was on and all this was going on whilst their mother's sat on the bench watching them and taking no notice of the way they were behaving. These areas are for children to enjoy and not destroy. I hope they are proud of themselves.

Fabulous day out, loads to see & do. Plenty of opportunities to get up close to animals which the kids love. Looses a star as the cafe is not the best organised or stocked, maybe the nice weather caught them out. They started running out of some stuff before midday - we lunched early to avoid the lunch rush. Also only 1 till so folks trying to pay for ice creams have to stand in line with those getting hot food which takes a while, resulting in slightly melted ice creams! So I'd say maybe pack a picnic Overall though a great day out was had

Brilliant day out for children. My son loves dinosaurs so this was perfect for him with the dinosaur walk. Various 'standard' other zoo like attractions and animals. Price is reasonable if you child is under 3. If not you have to pay adult prices. This is the reason for the loss of a star. Although it's not overly pricey for what can last a whole day, If you took your time. Food available at different stalls or plenty of picnic areas if you wish to take your own which is a big thumbs up if you had to pay adult prices for your children.

Great place for kids and parents to visit. Good selection of animals, a nice walk around, interesting activities to do, plenty of parking and sensible prices make this place great to visit. The restaurant is good with plenty of selection. There is an ice-cream hut with a great variety. There is even as great softplay area. I am very impressed by this place. My kids are quite young but I think up to 10 they would still enjoy a visit here.

Went as a zoo keeper today. Wow what an experience. This is truly a wonderful 8 hour day. Spending time with 2 keepers who I have to say were totally informative, knowledgeable and very patient. They are a credit to this amazing place. I can't praise this enough. I got to do some amazing things up close with the animals. Absolutely awesome. I'll never forget today

Thank you All Things Wild xxx

A visit to All Things Wild is always brilliant fun . The staff are friendly, informative and helpful. My boys love meeting the animals and getting to touch and hold them. There is plenty to do inside and out, perfect for any weather. The new soft play and sandpits are always a favourite. A few hooks in the toilets for coats and bags would be very helpful, but everything else is perfect. Highly recommend.

Lovely place to take the kids. It was raining the day we went, even so the kids enjoyed it. There is a good mix of indoor and out door activities. We took a picnic which we were able to have in the big soft play area. It does get very busy during school holidays but all in all a great day out. We will definitely be going back to enjoy it in the summer.

It was full of history about dinosaurs and other animals. The statues of the dinosaurs are fantastic inside and outside in the Grounds. No Smoking allowed anywhere and you can stay as long as you want. I have many great photos of it all and though prices are £10.99 for Adults and £10.49 for Children and Concessions I would go again with my Family.

Very poor customer service. Our child has autism and when we asked for extra help they wouldn't allow my husband to enter the premises without paying £10.99...when I explained it was just to help me they still refused and said 'well you don't have to come here madame! ' I was so utterly appalled that we were treated that way.

Visited at weekend 14/06/2014 some improvements on attractions the dinosaur the kids loved but refreshment bus closed some nice animals but disappointed in the variety of poultry very few different breed. Expensive for entry and poultry, won't be visiting again as could see the same at local poultry farm where we get our eggs from.

I have been visiting all things wild for 7 years and have seen it evolve. Always seems like they are improving and the cafe with soft play area is great. Sand pit and majority of site also great. Some parts however now look neglected in comparison. Dino barn mostly not working and teepees have seen better days.

5 for £50 what an absolute bargain! The place is massive, lots of play areas & different animals. Dinosaur kingdom. Tractor/train ride. A place to eat or picnic benches. Indoor play area & easy to get to :) Only downfall is they only cook a certain amount of food. If you are last you get whats left.

The Keeper experience was amazing. The large selection of animals have great enclosures and superb keepers. What a lovely place to spend the day. There's so much to do and see with the kids. We all loved our full day of fun. The cafe and play areas were brilliant.
Thank you All Things Wild!!!

The £10 entry seemed steep but there is so much to see and do here. There's a huge amount of animals, the dino adventure (which does have a couple of graphic scenes FYI), there are 3 outside parks and 1 soft play. The food is good if a little expensive but overall it is a great day out.

Great day out with the kids(in dry weather) but OUCH! The price made my eyes water and def take a packed lunch with you because the cafe is pretty pricey too. Also keep in mind that it's not the easiest place to get around if you have a pushchair....gravel tore my new wheels up: (

Great day out for all the family . Clive the train man was amazing with the kids. He had finished for the day but still did not want to disappoint the kids and started the train back up.Great customer service and would def return. Clive is a asset to the company . The kids loved him

Play areas are great kids love it! Unfortunately some of the animals didn't look in very good condition couldn't see food in there cages and very little water they all looked very sad and skinny it was upsetting to see. Grass over grown in alot of places really let it down

Very well planned place, the attractions are versatile, you get to see dinosaurs, animals, there is a petting zoo area, many outdoor playgrounds, a soft play area and plenty of room to play. We visited with our 2yo and were very happy with everything. Will definitely come again.

Very nice place for dinosaur lovers. Never been to such a majestic place before. My 2.5yr old loved it. Will surely visit again when my son is a little older. We adults definitely loved the play areas for kids, the Dino land and the animals and birds in this place.
