Only went in here to use toilets and ended up ordering fish and chips. This place has a doggy section which is ideal if you're walking your dog along the seafront and even has a doggy menu! Portion size was HUGE, I did struggle to finish my meal, chips were nice albeit lukewarm. A big let down for me was the young girl behind the bar, she just didn't seem happy or interested in what she was doing.

It's got to be one of the best pubs in Sunderland. Warm friendly comfortable, staff are quick & pleasant. perfect place to go after a walk along the sea front, haven't eaten there yet, but have been told food is good & very reasonable. They even cater for the dog.

Amazing staff and the food is lovely. Loving having our breakfast outside in the sun watching the world go by. Vegetarian breakfasts are amazing. Super dog friendly too (inside and out). Love how they have a no smoking section outside.

Lovely food and a friendly little place but not for wheelchairs due to it only having one booth that's ground level but it has ample tables in the dog friendly part but really would refuse to eat with dogs sitting next to me .

The most welcoming and loved pub in Sunderland. Staff are attentive and simply there to serve to keep you happy. The drinks are top of the range and it is situated in the most lovely part of the town. Just enjoy .

Nicely decorated. It was surprisingly busy and finding a table was difficult as part of the pub is dedicated to dogs. Orded coffee that took over half an hour to arrive as the barman forgot.

Newly refurbished it's a popular bar with good atmosphere and service, situated opposite the beach, near to restaurants and a hotel, gets busy at weekends

Great food. Staff are really good doesn’t take long to get served.
They could do with a change of music as I’m sure they play the same set every week.

Legendary steaks and cosy area, Saturdays are usually busy and maybe packed, however I don't support the allowance of dogs indoors

Friendly, relaxed & dog friendly. The type of place you can feel at home that also offers delicious food at reasonable prices.

Great food, just a shame they had ran out of chips when we ordered. Half an hour later they had more. #should'vewaited

Nice pub with a good atmosphere ( Friday night). Would benefit from a better selection of draft lagers.

Awesome food, nice friendly staff, and they let the dog come for his bacon and sausages on a morning!

Nice place, but parking is chargeable outside now. Not the pub's fault... council again!!!
