I usually love every visit to a Holiday Inn Express and this was no exception, the team are warm and welcoming its friendly and yet has an air of style and effecient grace. When you stay at this Hotel you get a real sense that all the staff are happy to be there, to assist and help you and really enjoy their jobs.

The rooms are good and functional, Possibly not every room is marvelous but if you really dont like a room go down and discuss it it with one of the Polite guys on the front desk and ask to change. The rooms have block out curtains so a good nights sleep is almost gauranteed, though if you are sensitive to mild noise and vibration then ensure you ask for a room at the rear of the hotel, best you join IHG rewards program for free, to book the cheapest rate and put your room preference in your profile. The airco is great and keeps the room an ambient temp. The complimentary Breakfast is served in the restaurant downstairs has a very good buffet selection with bacon eggs and cold foods.

Within easy walking distance to the hotel is a huge shopping mall directly across the road, and bus stops near by and a few tube stations to get you all over London. The guys at the desk can help and assist with all your bookings, maps and advice on things to do.
All in All I love the staff here and there infectious behaviour makes me love their Hotel. I recommend this Hotel.

It's unfortunate that I have to rate this hotel poor. My family and I just departed from the Holiday Inn Express London - Swiss Cottage. We were at this facility from 24/11/15 to 2/12/15 in room 107. During our stay we did notice spots on the wall by the window. We originally thought it was dirt. However, upon further review on 1/12/15 as we were checking the room to make sure that we did not forget to pack anything, the spots turned out to be mold. We also noticed that the wall behind the sofa couch was wet. During our visit I thought my wife was coming down with a cold however I believe her difficulty in breathing was a result of the mold in the room. The last night that we stayed in the room, we did not put on the vent and instead choose to open the window and she had a much easier time breathing. We did bring this attention to the night shift and was told that it was best to e-mail the manager. We e-mailed the manager twice with pictures and still have not received a response. No apology, no we are investigating the e-mail, nothing. I've been in customer service for over 20 years and if a guest showed me pictures of the mold in the room not only would I be horrified and embarrassed but I would have acknowledged, apologized and compensated so I can turn the negative into a positive. I would stay away

For the hotel category it belongs to, this hotel delivers. The breakfast had a variety of foodstuffs and the service itself was very quick and always with a smile.

The rooms, while not being super big were able to accomodate a couple plus 2 kids.

WiFi is free, but you have to get a code from the receptionist, which may be limited to up to 3 devices.

The hotel is located at roughly a 4 minute walk from a Jubilee underground station.

In addition, located in front of the hotel you'll find a small 'O2' shopping center which houses a big, as well as affordable, 'Sainsbury's' supermarket, a Starbucks and a variety of restaurants, which are kid friendly.

All in all, while the hotel isn't physically very near to Oxford street, the underground train will take you to the most popular attractions in roughly 20 to 25 minutes.

If you want to visit Camden, the distance from the hotel is a 15 minute bus ride.

I highly recommend this hotel!

I am writing this review in 3 o'clock in the morning. Right, before the sunrise. The staff of this hotel are very nice. They are kind and respond to clients' needs. BUT, almost in EVERY room of this hotel has a weird tick sound, like a large water drop on the ceiling. And the sound repeats in every 30 seconds. What's worse is that the volume of the sound changes all the time. I stayed here for three nights and I have asked for changing my room in the first night but it gets worse in the second room. I have talked with other friends in this hotel. Same problem for almost everyone!! We just put on ear plugs and sometimes it does not work anymore, like right now at 3:30.
So, for anyone who is sensitive to the sounds during the night, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL. You just don't know when the noises begin and end.
I give one star to the hotel staff. BUT, I really wonder if the hotel merits the good reviews of others.

Although we were only there for one night, we were absolutely delighted. We had two really nice rooms, all very clean, really good value for money. Very nice staff and a great breakfast included. Parking directly by the hotel in the yard and let us leave our car there even be longer stand, as we checked in. The bus into the city stops right outside the door! A smooth one as compared to the same Preiskathegorie from other hotels! We will be back !!!
It was the best hotel I ever had for a price like this in London. We were only on night there - had two rooms, Which were very comfortable and clean. The stuff was very friendly and the parking place behind the hotel. The breakfast was wonderful and We could even leave the car a bit longer there than we had checked in the hotel. The bus to the town center stops in front of the hotel !!! Thank you so much, we will definetly come back!

This hotel is in a great location (close to the Metro stop Finchley Road), many buses within walking distance, as well as many restaurants for all budgets and for all tastes . The staff are always friendly to the little care for us, plus there is a person who makes the effort to speak French. We flew a room side parking so very quiet, very clean and actually what is said in the sleeping area for the family room the sofa bed is not comfortable at all. Small more very pleasant the possibility to leave his luggage free for the return and the return and especially very close to the station ST PANCRAS 3 stops of metro it seems to me. I do not recommend this hotel for Young Singles, An Amazing Honeymoon, A romantic getaway, Girlfriend getaway, People with disabilities,

I have stayed here before and been pleased however on my last visit I was told on arrival that I could not go to my room as there was maintenance work which I assumed to be a repair. When I went to my room at 11.30pm that night I soon realised it had been at least partly painted that day as there were strong paint fumes. There was also a dust sheet of some kind over the bottom sheet on the bed. There was no fan in the room although the hotel assumed there was and that this would have helped the paint fumes as they had also left the window open.

I complained the next morning and was told that they were aware of the painting and I was given points less than half the value of the number required for a one night stay in compensation.

This Hotel has very good location. First of all you can catch bus at each airport and get off in front of the hotel because there is bus station fo4 coach. Next to it is another bus station that can bring you straight to city ceter within 35 minutes. If you dont like bus you can walk aroung 5 minutes and take the metro but the total time will be also about 35 min so dont expect to go faster by metro. Additionally in front of the hotel is locate small shopping centre where you can eat different meal and make shopping in the saintsburry market. The only think that I didnt enjoy in the hotel is the breakfasts. Always the same and typicall english. In the metro area you can buy oyster card which is neccessary in London in thr moment.

This place absolutely scammed my mother out of her hard earned cash. She booked online and believed she was paying £380 for three nights stay (Wednesday-friday) only to be told upon arrival that the £380 was for one night's stay. How is that remotely justifiable? £160 would still be too much for the disgusting rooms, inadequate breakfast with its powdered scrambled eggs and poor quality meat, never mind £380. I fully believe the website is designed to be misleading and should provide the full price for all three nights upon selection. I would expect a refund for her, but seeing as this company is dishonest, it seems incredibly unlikely.

Five Stars for this Hotel related to London standards- wären in Deutschland eher 4 geworden. Close to Tube and Bus, shopping center and restaurants opposite street and near city- perfect base for exploring London.
Rooms are very tiny (even the only chair didn't fit when extra bed for Kids made), just a wardrobe, but bath extremely clean (as rest of Hotel!) and big enough with 2 adult and 2 kids. Helpfull and always friendly staff, breakfast even for german kids satisfying. Extra kids bed was really bad, adults beds were great. For further trips to London my first choice.

strategically located on National Express from stansted stops outside.
100 meters from the excellent brown metro to the center and all connections going to the right of the hotel to find 100m. Another measure to camdem and its famous market tut to the world for the Street food to try, .good breakfast but certain things I have to ask very good not the Wi-Fi. In front of the hotel you have a small shopping center and supermarket-conscious price of coffee is expensive everywhere in the hotel you have everything to prepare it in the House. Council lthough the staff deserves

If you need someone to stay in the Swiss cottage/Finchley rd area, this is a nice spot. The rooms are clean, comfortable and reasonably large for a London studio. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is included but still quite good: basic hot and continental buffet. Our room also came with complimentary water. If you need provisions then there is a Salisbury across the road. The tube station is less than 5min walk away and there are buses near the door too. Euston station is only abt 15min away by tube.

In summary, very solid 3 star hotel.

Room size was great. Bed was huge for1 person and heating worked well. Plenty of room for bag, but could be an issue with multiple bags. Bathroom great size and shower good pressure. Little to no noise from adjacent rooms or hallway. Included breakfast was a bit dull and uninspiring, but ok to get started for the day. Very closely located to shops, restaurants & tube station (note: only stair access at station, no lifts). Bus stops right out the front of entrance. 20 min tube ride to Paddington or Kings Cross stations - very handy for day trips.

I had to drop off a vehr drunk damsel-in-distress here. We couldn't get through the door, which I at first put down to the drunkard but in the end it was one of those reception controlled switches where you have to convince the staff with plaintive facial expressions that you are legit. In the end they were ok, although when they realised I had few options, they charged me top dollar.

Apparently the room was freezing, the heating didn't work and the breakfast was terrible. No good deed goes unpunished, eh?

Me and my mom in this hotel spent her 80th birthday. In Elenor team led by hotel staff is very attentive, very hard to make our stay special. When we arrived at the hotel early, when they are not ready for the room to apologize to us, it provided us with free tea. When we got to the room, I knew at once that the room was not ready good reason: employees who want to make sure my mom's birthday bouquet, birthday cards and birthday gifts are arrangements in place inside the room. It's really great ...

The location is wonderful for travel through London. The street is relatively quiet at night, there is a mall across the street, and a tube station only a block away. The room is small, but the space is managed well. My only real complaint is there was no dresser in which to unpack and put my clothes. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious! Would definitely stay there again!

Great location, close to the tube and the O2 centre thar has loads of places to eat, vue and Sainsburys. Lots of take aways close by too. Rooms very clean, helpfully staff, great beds if you like a firm mattress and the food is good too. Only down side is that is on a main road with a constant flow of traffic. After the first night you get used to the noise and I found it easier to get to sleep.

Bad experience a/c not working and third adult bed they gave and charged me was supposed to be for children and really not suitable for them either as it was bend in middle of bed.i was assured on my next visit 6 days later i willbe given a proper room for 3 adults but surprising they gave me a room with 1 king sized bed and din't have for anything for the third person which i have paid for .

All good, but parking is a huge issue. A few parking spaces for whole hotel? And they are not free £20 for a night! I asked the staff if there's any free parking in the area and they didn't know that. Anyway I did sone reasearch and found parking for free a few minutes walking distance from the hotel. It is free on road parking from Sat 6.30 pm to Mon morning.

Very friendly guy on reception when we checked in called Luke (I meant to fill in a card highlighting this but forgot). The room was clean and, once we turned the heating on, nice and warm. Not very soundproof from the road outside but I was tired enough it didn't keep me up. Breakfast in the morning was tasty and they even provided Quorn sausages for us.

Price-performance ratio is very good hotel chain. 2 adults 1 child (12) fits comfortably. 1-2 perfect night. The bed is big enough and comfortable. The room and the bathroom adequate size, nice and clean. Staff nice, breakfast delicious, abundant. Shops, public transport is very close. However, the street front room was very noisy.

What a wonderful, peaceful, and hospitable hotel! I had the pleasure of staying many days. From the first day, the staff was phenomenonal and very friendly. Even Chef Ysabel was extremely helpful in setting up my business Afternoon Tea. I can tell they are compassionate about their customers. Most definitely would stay there again.

Great location near subway. Clean hotel. Good and abundant breakfast. Very kind staff. Nice and clean rooms. All the main services available. Free Wifi. Great prices. Recommended for those who want to visit London with Oyster card and public transport without spending a fortune in the hotel but still ensuring excellent returns

A nice hotel ideally located a 5 minute walk north of Finchley road tube station. The hotel is clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included in the price and offers continental and a small selection of hot food: sausage, beans, scrambled eggs. Ideally located for Wembley stadium /Arena. Good value for money.

Very clean, nice staff and helpful maid service, close to Waitrose and Finchley Road Tube station, Central London just a few Tube stops away, great value. Wonderful breakfast. Stayed there for seven days and no complaints. Ask for a room in the back of the hotel as there is a lot of traffic on Finchley Road.

The rooms are very small and what's there to put stuff in a cupboard drawer bien such as a closet shelves were unable to open her clothes on. Furniture middle alınıyo seen through a nomadic life full of suitcases. I do not like the room but close to the Metro and close to the center every day temizleniyo

Effective hotel for both business and leisure trips. Underground at your fingertips, small and basic rooms. Excellent cleaning, breakfast in the norm with the essential for all tastes. Rooms a bit noisy because of the traffic 24 hours a day. Also recommended for the quality / price ratio

Functional hotel. Close to Finchley Road tube (not Swiss Cottage). 4 parking spaces, so book if you want one. Rooms are small. Restaurants and shops opposite. Great choice when you want somewhere cheap close to town and with easy access to the M1. Breakfast buffet included so good value.

Great location if visiting London from North. Located right next to a tube station. 10 mins and your by all the sights and attractions by the Thames. Front facing rooms can be a little noisey as it is on a busy road. Staff a very polite and helpful. Decent free breakfast. Free Wifi.

Friendly staff on reception and a clean room. Parking was £20 a night and is very limited. I had to park at the O2 centre down the road, but luckily they get a reduced rate (it's usually £35). No bath in the room, unfortunately, but other than that, I couldn't fault it.
