Was with a Huge crowd from work, waited 15 mins to be served at the bar, then the barman just walked off before serving us. The other barmaid said she would come back in a min but another 10-15 mins passed and several people getting annoyed, she told us that she was too busy and we would have to drink elsewhere if we wanted a drink.
Also ran out of wine and the barman just left the bar unattended to go to Tesco and get more. Ran out of normal coke too!
Understaffed and cramped, yet a similar pub down the road was less busy so we went there instead.

Conveniently located in the city centre, this place gets so packed when it's busy you'll need a tyre lever to get in the door. I love the comfy sofas in the conservatory, and there's even a modest beer garden out the back.

You'll normally find a great range of ales on tap, and if you see any pork pies for sale at the bar, grab one!

Bit of a trendy destination so gets busy in the evenings but a nice pub for a quiet pint outside if it's warm enough. Seems quite big on the inside. Mainly Adnams beers, with a few keg options, seen some unusual Lagunitas in here now and again. Had a sausage sandwich which was off the charts tasty, very recommended.

Lovely little craft beer tap house but with the associated prices. Great cozy seating area with a collection of a thousand odd board games stretching back to the 80's plus a snack display dedicated to Admiral Akhbar. Loses a star for missing the opportunity to state 'It's a snack!' ;)

Cool place, nice atmoshphere on a friday night. Kind of cheap drinks and the service was really cool as well, the waitress was funny and smiling.
Went there with my cousin to grab a paint of beer and a vodka lemon cocktail and I just paid like 6 or 7 pounds. I ll come back

Can't give 3.5 stars, but that's probably more accurate. It's list its shine a bit since it was opened, but still good for decent beers (cask or keg), decent food and one of the few bars in the city that gets sun in the beer garden throughout the day.

A friendly pub with good drink options, lots of bar games and a great pub quiz every Tuesday. The in house pies are delicious and mini ones are available at the bar too.

The Underbelly is available to hire and regularly has events going on.

Good old fashioned spit and sawdust pub - no pretence - just as they should be. Convivial atmosphere. Great selection of beer and always fine tunes. These had been one of my city centre watering holes for a long time and remains so.

It's a great pub, and it's come a long way in the past few years. Probably needs a bit of a clean up as it's a little bit grimy here and there but it's got the right attitude and a wonderful selection of booze!

Became a cool pub when it became the Rumsey Wells but has morphed slightly over time to a well worn slightly quirky, slightly scruffy, in a good way, place. The rum bar underbelly and sun trap out the back are worth checking out.

One of the best bars in the city, lots of stuff going on, DJ nights, quizzes, poetry etc... They also serve a great beer selection and pieminister Pies n mash. A cool Amsterdam vibe downstairs in the Underbelly too..

Great Pub, always good atmosphere.

Plus, don't forget all the extra events, arts exhibitions, gigs, DJ nights, and the SHOP run from 'the underbelly', the pubs basement/crypt level.

The usually have a DJ at the weekend. The place is good to go for drinks and attracts a cool crowd with a relaxed atmosphere. Downstairs can be fun on a Saturday.

Always very crowded but lively and great selection of beers and drinks. One of Norwich's more popular spots these days on Fridays and Saturdays.

Great service, even when busy staff were quick & attentive to customers. Good selection of beers on offer & reasonably priced too.

This place is very indie the music is indie rock which is good but the place is tiny and quite dirty. They do serve food, pies mostly.

Great English pub in the heart of Norwich city center with great pies and selection of crafty beers and ciders. Trivia nights are fun!

Great pub quiz every Tuesday at 8.00. Be there for Brendo's Big Quiz! Lots of prizes and pies to be won! Entery £1 per person.

Favourite pub in Norwich, chilled atmosphere with well kept range of extensive beers and more rums than any one person could need

For all your beverage needs. Especially love the little nooks and crannies. Staff are always witty and there is always music.

Staff rather detached, beer variable, sometimes good, sometimes not. Shabby but meant to be, it's that sort of place.
