Good food using fresh local ingredients, often in sophisticated combinations. Can be crowded and hence very noisy (especially at the weekend). Nice rooms to stay in as well as public spaces (modern but retaining smart rural charm). Good place to celebrate a special occasion or event. Attentive service. Interesting wine list.

Lovely country pub. Attentive staff, great food, and a good selection of drinks. Rooms have a lovely feel to them, especially those with a bath. Highly recommended.

Went for lunch. Warm and cosy atmosphere with friendly helpful staff. Good food but could have had a bigger choice on the menu. That said will definitely go again

Ambiance was amazing. The food was pretty good, but the it was very warm and cozy. It was my last night in the UK and was a fitting conclusion.

Well run, highly regarded , not cheap but value for money. More for discerning diners. A place I'm happy to use when in the area.
