It is is a convenient place to shop, close to Chester. Tesco Extra is opened 24 hours and is huge. M&S Food is a convenient place to buy one of the best food in Britain.Great variety of shops, restaurants and a cinema. Family friendly with public toilets, wheelchair access to all shops including upper floors. Marked down to 4 star as trying to park at the weekend is a bit of a challenge.
A great selection of retailers although there are too many empty units and have been for too long. Parking can be a nightmare at times with the lack of it since the cinema and have eating places have taken up part of the car park. Also the parking spaces are the smallest, width wise, I have had to deal with, yes the car fits in, if the vehicles either side have parked within their spaces, but even then there is not enough room to open the vehicle door to get in and out of it if the door needs to be opened wider than usual

Broughton retail shopping park is a generic retail park you will find over the country with nothing to differentiate it from any other... Shops in the park include a Tesco, McDonald's, Costa, Cineworld (small Imax) pub and the usual assortments of shops and restaurants you would expect to find in this type of shopping complex...

There is ample free parking but it does get extremely busy and in holiday periods can get full quickly making space hunting a problem at times.

Toilets are only available in the cinema and the many restaurants, no public toilets are available... Most shops have lifts and are therefore wheelchair friendly.

It makes for an OK place to visit with easy access and is always clean and tidy with outdoor eating/coffee places in the summer.. Cinema is also good but on the pricey side.

A great deal of money has recently been spent on the car park but with very little advantage being gained from it.

A good shopping experience starts with the car park, which is horrendous. Roads are potholed and layout a nightmare. Plenty of tight spaces. But the one main access road is crisscrossing lanes and paedestrian crossing. This ends up in lot of frustration and potential for accidents. planning of the layout could have been better and in urgent need of attention from someone sensible.
Once you have parked there are a variety of shops, which are good as you combine some minor shopping to the main supermarket shop.
Once shopping is done you need to negotiate the car park out and wishing you luck with that.

This is one of the best places for me to shop. I am unable to walk very far and normally use a scooter sue to my disability, Broughton Shopping Park has lots of free parking spaces both for able and disabled.
The shops are all accessible making it a super place to shop. There is a wide range of shops here selling everything you need with long opening hours.
The more recent addition of a cinema and restaurants is great
The shopping park is easily accessible just off the A55 or just outside of Chester.

Great place, has pretty much everything you need for a shopping centre, only thing it's missing by personal preference is a KFC but I can overlook that, the Cineworld there is the only IMAX cinema in Wales so for that reason alone it's my favourite place to be. Everything else there is found really, Tesco, Asda, places to eat, a McDonald's if you just want something quick, a pub with very nice food and then you have your common shops, EE, Nike, Primark, excellent place, not far away either!

It's a great place for a number of reasons in that you can buy your weekly food from either Tesco Extra or at Marks and Spencer Food Hall or get diverse choices of clothing or have your eyes tested. There are a number of restaurants and a Cinema centre, Carphone Warehouse, O2 and EE for the younger generation. We go there every Tuesday to do the weekly shopping and I can only recall two or three occasions in the last 10 years when we have had to go elsewhere to find what we needed.

The spaces are to small the car park layout is awful to may handey caped spaces and OAPS who get free bus tickets park there cars there and them get the bus to Chester or mold or wrkham so most of the time you can not even get a decent space
Puls cause the new cinni world and restrants are there 1/4 or the car parks gone and they anit replaced with more spaces so all these suv and big 4x4 park in these space be ready for a scrape or 2 on your cars may as well go and park in Aldi

Shop's a plenty, Broughton Shopping Park comprises over 40 retail, leisure and food and beverage units and a cinema. The retail units are arranged in a horseshoe configuration around a central car park. Tesco and Asda Living are the largest stores and anchor the scheme alongside Boots, Next and New Look amongst others.
Oh and a Costa, phew!

The shopping park attracts 9 million visitors a year.

Huge car park so there is plenty of parking, but it can still get packed. Particularly busy (as you'd expect) at weekends and the entrance/exit roundabouts can be swamped when the nearby air factory changes shift in the middle of the day. Good selection of shops once you get there and a choice of places to get food. Large, modern cinema too.

A good shopping park. Not huge like some others but has a good mix of shops including supermarkets, clothes, home wares, restaurants and a great new cinema. Always has available parking which makes a pleasant change to some other retail parks that squeeze too many stores on the site to the detriment of available parking for customers.

Great place to visit especially if wet as you can browse the good selection of shops under cover whilst getting fresh air and stretching the legs. Easy to park, lots of food places and clean toilets. Would give 5 stars if it had a decent childrens play area like Cheshire Oaks. I'm sure even more people would visit if they did.

This place is a nightmare. There's not enough parking so people are queuing to get in and struggle to find a space. The roads immediately outside are just extensions of the car parking problem. They need to sort it out as I try to avoid this place unless absolutely necessary, even though it is not far from where I live.

Great if you are young and able, but not for me. I'm not a big person, they just don't have shops for my size. 52inch chest and a 44inch waist. They had nothing to suit me, or fit me. I'm 56 and disabled. It's a big place and I couldn't do it, plus they don't make the free parking very clear.

Typical medium scale shopping park complete with cinema and mass market eateries .. could be anywhere in the country .. Chester city centre is not far away ..park up there and walk for a much better experience .. although I will agree this place is convenient that's all I can say for for bland ,same as anywhere place

parking can be a nightmare and its always very very busy even on weekdays.

there is a good range of shops including a supermarket and lots of places to eat. These include sit down restaurants to a burger van and Mc Donalds.

there is also a cineworld on the complex and parking is free throughout

Car park is rubbish and patrolled by busy body wardens and has about a thousand disabled spaces sitting empty while you cant find anywhere to park. Traffic is always crazy. One way system only works if people are intelligent enough to know what way they should be driving. Range of shops is average.

Much improved experience since the makeover. One way road layout around the perimeter in my mind makes it a lot safer walking to and from your car.
Pedestrian areas have been improved and better coverage for when it rains. Still can not stop the wind blowing through tho.

Great is you like shopping and carparks, there's a few eatery's dotted around the site and also a cinema complex, so if your lives that shallow that a shopping trip is the highlight of your weekend activities , then this quite possibly is the place for you

Great parking and a great range of shops. Plenty of places to eat and plentiful loos. Wheelchair friendly with loads of dedicated parking, flat paths, automatic or open doors to shops, plenty of cover from rain. Beats city centre parking costs and traffic!

Fantastic range of shops, little limited on food options (mainly Italian restaurants) but the infrastructure needs reassessing since the new housing development. I will no longer visit during lunch periods because the traffic here is horrendous

Good all rounder, be early or prepared to do some circling on a Saturday as it's popular and often busy. Nice selection of shops and restaurants and a fantastic cineworld with IMAX screen. Good for shopping trips, family days, dates etc.

Good choice of shops, also got a cinema and choice of eating places here free parking and choice of places to eat if just want a snack like Macdonald or a Costa and outside eating places too for a hot drink and sandwiches or do nuts.

5 by Jess Powis Review source

Couple of decent stores and restaurants but the layout and parking always let it down. Some terrible displays of driving as people attempt to cram themselves in. Both access routes have a tendancy to backup - planning failure.
