Beautiful hidden gem amongst a growing town. Well maintained, knowledgable staff, hides for those avid photographers & bird spotters. It’s a lovely few hours out of the chaos of urban life. Only downside for me is that I took my baby with me as she loves the outdoors and obviously being a nature reserve, we struggled to figure out a suitable route for the buggy. So anyone looking to take young children, take a papoose rather than a buggy!

A wonderful lake with two bird watching hides and roaming cattle which add fertility to the soil, keep the grass down and allow the wild flowers to self seed feeding the pollinating insects and birds. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and welcoming with regular talks, guided tours an information centre and picnic area, ideal for a family visit and all nature lovers.

Got to see a Kingfisher in the first hide. Which was awesome of course.

It's a good place to go for a variety of birds, has a few hides (including a new one) and is a nice time out for just a couple of quid.

Worth pointing out that they sell penguins at the front desk. 20p a go. You'd be mad not to pick up a penguin.

Friendly and peaceful, had the thrill of spotting the kingfisher. Saw lots of bluetits at the next roomy hide. Had to drag the children away at the end of the day. Lovely clean picnic area and simple, reasonable tea room. Easy to get to, lots of parking. We loved our day here and look forward to seeing it again at a different time of the year...

Any amazing short walk around the Warnham nature reserve. Lots to see with some fun walks over the marsh-like areas where they have raised wooden walkways. The kids love it and there are some nice birds to see for those into bird watching. They also have a great little tea shop with some homemade pasties.

This is a lovely place to come if you want a short quiet walk. I'm guessing that it's even better if you are a bird enthusiast. It was annoying that they couldn't take card, as once I had paid my entrance fee, I didn't have enough cash for a hot chocolate.

£2 entry per adult is reasonable. Peaceful location (Horsham bypass very close though) and a small cafe serving drinks and snacks. No dogs which is a plus as lots of other walks around Horsham aren't so pleasant where there allowed. Great for kids.

Well maintained with knowledgable staff. Good variety of activities for young and old & can spend an hour walking round or whole day. Plenty to see in the woodpecker hide & if your lucky the kingfishers can be very close.

This local nature reserve has several bird hides. There is a nationally recognised heronry with a nest camera. Many water birds can be seen on the lake, and kingfishers are often seen. There is a good café.

A good place to see small birds as well as water birds. Good walks with places of interest to look at on the way round the reserve. Plenty of parking and a small cafe on site. An entrance fee is charged

Beautiful little reserve. Generally wheelchair accessible. Large lake with good variety of waterfowl and look out for the kingfishers. Normally on view. Four bird hides offer good views.

A lovely little local nature reserve and well worth a visit to escape the busy world. Also has a breeding programme for mice and you can see the little critters up close.

Not bad the people the in the huts taking photo's seemed stuck up. And was quite expensive for what it was. Don't know if I would go back again

Not good with small children . The serious bird watchers look at you if you shouldn't be there.
