If every village and town had a pub and restaurant like the New Inn you would all count yourselves as so lucky. Rhea and Ian have made the pub the hub of the village alongside the club, village hall and churches and school. All ages meet and mix together - the atmosphere is always welcoming and friendly. The staff are well trained and a credit and the foods good as well. The pub gets involved in all village activities and is always full of people celebrating a special event - fab place.

Went for a family meal and had a nice drink, some nice food and were sitting having good conversation. To be honest this would have been 5 stars but after spending over £400 we were frankly made to feel like we were no longer welcome as we had our children with us and certain other patrons were uncomfortable with us being there.

Great pub with friendly staff. Meal was fantastic, i had steak cooked to perfection, home made chips light and fluffy potato inside. Crispy onions rings to die for. My wife had chicken that was juicy and full of taste. Sat outside on a lovely Saturday afternoon in a place i would love to call my local. But i live in Newcastle

We've just visited for the 1st time after refurbishment after hearing all the fabulous reviews. The food was delicious, service was very friendly and efficient, especially to say how busy it for just after we arrived. Definitely recommend a visit here. We'll be back very soon.

It's a measure of the popularity of The New Inn, that the restaurant and bar is full most days of the week....

A wide 'pub grub' plus menu, well presented food, friendly staff and a great selection of well kept Ales, make this place a lasting favourite.

I am very much looking forward to eating at The New Inn again. Had a lovely meal there a few weeks ago (blackened salmon) and was most impressed by the quality of all services. A good traditional pub with great food, quintessentially English!

Food is great, or service tonight wasn't the most welcoming. Unsure if that is because the prom working was alone on serving detail it what, but no smiles, short response, waited for out dessert order to be taken... Just not great.

A real stand out pub, with a good selection of beer, ales, wines and spirits, and a modern feel within traditional decor. Manages to balance being a pub suitable for older locals popping in after work, and trendy younger crowds.

Nicely decorated and clean. But beer selection is a bit limited to larger and the usual bitter types. Didn't eat there but apparently the food is good.

Don't know if they are having staffing problems but food service is getting very slow and staple dishes are unavailable.
