I visited the restaurant with my sister, both of us vegans. We checked the menu before hand and were recommended by a friend of ours, who is also vegan. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a large variety of vegan food; which had been marked as vegan on the menu. After finishing our starters and then finishing the first part of the main we ordered more food. When the second lot of food arrived we noticed egg in our noodle dish! We flagged this with the waitress. The manager came over to speak to us about the situation. We told him we were vegans and can't eat animal produce, he then described to us how they believe the term vegan to be another term for vegetarian - completely incorrect. There was a massive language barrier. After some talk he told us how it could be down to cross contamination. Unfortunately, it is quite clear the restaurant doesn't know the meaning of the term vegan and they've highlight there food incorrectly. Also, it is apparent to us we did eat animal produce so we'd like to warn other vegans when visiting. On a bright note, to non-vegans, the food was very nice.

We went Chinese New Year, what a great night we had! Dancing Chinese Lions, learned something of Chinese tradition, great fun. Food was good, and a good vegetarian selection including mock meats which I love, especially vegetariam crispy duck! Only gave 4 stars as service was slow, and when we ordered food it didnt all come at the same time. Some dishes they forgot altogether and we had to ask 2 or 3 times before the dish arrived. However they did apologise for the service at the time, because it was such a busy night I think they were struggling. Would be happy to go again another time.

Terrible! After waiting 45 minutes to get a drink, then to be told 'as you can see we are busy' (this evening has been booked for months) couldn't even say 'Sorry'
After and hour and a halve some of the starters came, 30 mins later, the rest of the starters came. After 3 1/2 hours we gave up, some of us didn't even bother to order a main course as we may of still been there waiting now!. To to make things worse would not even give anything off the bill for a truly shocking service and spoilt a good friends retirement dinner.

Atmosphere was nice, customer service was alright... but they always very eager to finish your plates and order more (we had buffet), we have no idea of the portion sizes, and like someone else said they have quite harsh rules, as if you don't eat it all, you pay á la carte price! The starter was very oily, especially the fried prawns (we had more than one starter), was just oil! I love chinese, but find very difficult to trust their cooking, as I know they like to cheat, to save money, on the way they cook things!

Environment is lovely.
Service is also very good.
Unfortunately food could be better. I had spicy chicken. Chicken is really watery. Sauce could be much thicker. Egg rice was good.
Girlfriend had chicken and mushroom soup for starter, which was really delicious.
Sweet and sour chicken as a main, which was a disappointment. Extremely oily.

With 2x orange juice, I have paid round £18 for both (not all you can eat option), which is on par with other Chinese restaurants.

I have been here many times. The food is great. Really reasonable price too. But the service lets the restaurant down badly. There is always an air of chaos and confusion and receiving incorrect drinks and dishes has to be viewed as a risk of eating here. Its a bit like a Chinese version of Fawlty towers really.

Nevertheless I would give it a go as it's a nice comfortable place and the food is top quality and reasonably priced.

Food was extremely GREASY. Back of menu stated very harsh rules 'NO TAKEAWAY 'You will be charged for unfinished food'... You don't see portion sizes and so unaware that you may not finish the food. The music was dull, atmosphere was dull, food was dull. No flavour just greasy greasy greasy. Like drink a pint of oil. Wouldn't recommend and won't be going again!

Went Here for a works dinner and the food here was absolutely amazing definitely worth the drive from Burgess Hill. Would go here again and plan on going with my family for my birthday. The staff are always friendly and so kind and understanding especially with small children who can't sit still. Loved the atmosphere hat is created here as well could ask for a better restaurant

I find the vegetarian option at China palace better than most Chinese food establishments. However I find the price very high for what you get. I also have a pet peeve about being 'forced' to pay service charge. And the rules that are presented at the back of the menu give a very intimidating dining experience. But the food IS tasty especially for vegetarians/vegans

Been to this outstanding Chinese more times than I can count on my fingers n toes. Always a pleaser and suited to all clientele whether a meal for two or a party banquet, they cater for every occasion. Food is delicious, plentiful and the service extremely quick and efficient. Thank you to Wai and the team for always making our visits incredibly welcoming

Really really impressed with this restaurant.
It's a little secret tucked away on the 1st floor and when you discover it it'll blow you away!
The service is excellent, they treat you like royalty and the food was honestly the best Chinese food I ever had in my life. We had the lunch menu which was very reasonably priced.

We visited yesterday (Sunday) for a birthday lunch. The group of 5 included 2 vegetarians and 1 vegan, and there were so many options. I particularly enjoyed the mock duck pancakes. The staff were friendly, and only about £20 for as many freshly-prepared dishes as you'd like. Would definitely recommend!

I have been there many times, weekdays weekends and the food is not consistent at all. One day is fresh and yummy ,the other day ,the chicken is hard and the noodle is too dry. I need to gamble every time going there coz I've never known what the food would be like.

Myself and my family enjoy Dim Sum at this restaurant at least once a fortnight and have been doing so for the past five years. Delicious food, attentive service (and very child-friendly) and all for less than £10/head. On a par with the best in Chinatown.

This is some of the best dim sum I've eaten (and I've eaten a lot). I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Chinese food. My family are now regular Sunday lunch visitors and always leave both full and happy.

You can choose from Buffet or the Dim Sum menu. Food from the menu is authentic Chinese, and very delicious. If anyone wants a taste of authentic Chinese food and you are not willing to go to big cities to get it, I would recommend this place.

Love this place! Food is amazing really good value for money. Staff are lovely too. Only downside is even with a sign on the door smokers leave it open whilst on the balcony. Not nice to smell cigarette smoke especially whilst eating.

My family LOVED Dim Sum at this restaurant at least twice a week and have been doing so for the past 15 years. Incredible food, attentive service (and very child-friendly) and all for less than £5/head. VERY GOOD!

Had a large group that wanted to go out to dinner at the last minute , phoned up and got us in no problem. Nice large restaurant but think the food us lacked a little. Service was really great but large service charge added.

Very nice food. Freshly cooked and nicely presented the staff are friendly and are very quick. Look at my pictures for the menu. Anoying that there website doesn't work.

Favourite restaurant in Worthing. Good is served quickly and it's always hot. Staff are brilliant. Only time the service suffers is, surprisingly, during quiet times.

Have been here many times, and with good reason. Lots of choices for both starters and main courses, even better when it's busy! Definitely coming back again!

Part of a large group. Service was quite rude at times. Ordered vegetarian dishes, which were not clearly pointed out - had to play 'meat or no meat'.

Great choice of food and the service is always good. The price has gone up in the last year but still the best Chinese restaurant in Worthing in my opinion.

4 by Dean Waller Review source

It’s more expensive than the Chinese place next door for about the same service. The food was delicious though, and the servers were very on top of things.

Love it to pieces!
Super food friendly staff and a fixed price up front.
Eat here regularly and will go on doing so.

5 by Howard Toon Review source

Food is good but why are Chinese Restaurants so expensive nowadays?
The Drinks are also overpriced. Great decoration though

Always great food and service. Started to get a little bit more expensive now though. Visited NYE 2017 and it's 21 a head.
