Ordered 3 meals and some onion rings at 11. 45am 2 meals came with the onion rings I thought she had gone back for my gammon
I had 1 onion ring while I was waiting it was just warm so waited but my meal didnt arrive so I took them back to the bar to ask for some hot ones and also ask where my meal was
While waiting a waitress passed me 3 times with my meal and took it back to the kitchen
My wife even said as she passed our table I thonk that meal.maybe my husbands no she said it's for table 68 where nobody was sat we was table 70
I was still at the bar when the waitress brought it back out and I stopped her and said is that table 70 yes was the reply so asked her to take back and bring back a fresh meal
15 minutes later was brought back plate hot food still just warm onion rings minus one I had tried before so got money back and left

A nice pub with a great selection of beers - it's a Wetherspoons, what do you expect? It used to have a great atmosphere, with a real mix of ages from young people about to go to South Streets clubs to old boys who looked as though they'd just left the local Model Engineering club meeting.

We used to go there very often, at least once a week, but stopped once they started insisting on having photo ID at the door for several nights of the week. We don't yet live in a police state even under this government and I'd rather get on a bus and go to Ilford and go to the pub there.

Nice friendly staff. Disappointed with food, I ordered roast of the day. (On a Thursday) The menu did state what. the meal consisted of I can't understand how you can call this a roast dinner as there was nothing roasted at all. I had to ask for cranberry sauce with my meal. Sorry, my interpretation of a roast dinner includes roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. Also, the pub was untidy with almost every table needing to be cleared of crockery and glassware. We frequently visit The Eva Harte in Chadwell Heath and assumed all of your establishments were of the same high quality.

Steve stateion I want to make a formal complaint about one of your manageress 's . Asking for a beer sweetheart is no reason to be barred. I am being victimised. Never in over 20 years of being a publican have I heard of such a thing. We spoke before about the poor service now I'd like to speak to the regional manager as things have gone to far barred for asking for a beer sweetheart is not abuse. Sunday 4th the manageress was abusive and she said before I was a lier When I said it was 2 weeks she said 2 months from every jds. And that was end of October. John. Oversight!

Good for drinks and a laugh with mates.

But do not be deceived by there burger that offers blue cheese. I bought this burger specifically for the blue cheese sauces and I'd be a Ned Flanders right mustache hair if that was 'blue cheese.' Pretty certain it was either mayo or a very discoloured cheese sauce. That was never blue. Most unwelcoming. But I'll probably be back there Friday night. Wubalubadubdub.

Craft beers and ales are always decent, well priced, and a good temperature. Food frequently comes out wrong or all over the place, however. So I'd only eat here if I had no other option. The food is cheap enough that you can sometimes forgive a mistake.

A great place to eat and drink on a budget. The service is always efficient but friendly and the food is decent considering the price. I have dined at the Moon & Stars on many occasions over the years and my experience has been consistently good.

Absolutely brilliant staff. Very attentive with the order and pay App as the Basildon branch are not. Order placed and food and drinks served within 15mins as with lazy staff in basildon were rude to us and very slow and lazy with service.

Cosy atmosphere whether you are having a quiet drink of a week day or just warming up before heading somewhere a little more lively on the weekend. Drinks and food are exactly what you would come to expect from any respecting Wetherspoons.

Standard wetherspoons pub, good value, bit grimy and food isn't great, but you get what you pay for and I've been many many times. Would I take my in-laws there? No. Would I go for curry and beers with friends? Absolutely.

Long wait cold food. Other customers also complaining. Arrogant manager disinterested staff however was offered a refund and left satisfied. Sorry for the waiters that had to bare the brunt of unhappy customers

Nice friendly staff. Food and drink were ok - it's a Witherspoon so can't expect anything too much, but you don't pay that much either. Due to location expect to see the locals in there early.

Big breakfast delivered without sausages and just like warm. Waitress was surly when I took it back and asked to have a my food delivered in one piece and not piecemeal. Made me late for my next appointment

Used to go to this Pub a lot years ago when I worked in Romford.
No music or TV, great, just a proper Pub. A place to meet up, have a chat, a drink maybe a bite to eat, foods not bad. Great.

Me and my partner went there on Sunday, ordered 2 Sunday brunches and on mine I have spotted a problem. Went to the counter and talked to the manager and everything was OK. Very professional.

Typical Wetherspoons pub. Always a good selection of beers that are reasonably priced. Food as always is very good. This pub is always very busy. Particularly on Saturday evenings!

Great food served hot and fresh and extremely reasonable prices. Offer a nice selection of cocktails, again at very reasonable prices. Nice spot for Breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Good selection of drinks and, like other Spoons, they have a large selection of real ales, most of which are reasonably priced. Food ok but getting increasingly expensive

Been going as a regular for the past 5 years, great selection of food as its a Weatherspoons, friendly staff, overall an enjoyable experience, will continue to go.

Met with a friend in here, two pubs along is the worlds Inn, another wetherspoons but better. Would have given a three but staff member was rude to my friend.

Foods good and louisa behind bar and clearing tables made our evening just being fun and keeping an atmosphere in what could be a very old mans pub

5 by Benjamin Aldridge Review source

Bar staff stand in the kitchen area talking, very slow at times, if they smiled now and again it would help, on the plus side the beer is cheap
