Popped in for lunch, welcomed and seated quickly but that's where the positives end.
Ordered a minute steak and burger then waiting nearly 40 minutes for these to arrive (the pub was very quiet)
The burger once arrived was beyond charred. I had to cut off all the burnt parts which didn't leave much else.
The minute steak was very overlooked and served with limp fries.
We were never menu checked but at the end when asked if everything was ok I then explained about the burger. No apology, no offer of taking money off nothing. We then went to the till to pay as again we were waiting for the bill at the table.
Very disappointed and we never eat here again.

I've visited The Lintot a few time over the last 6 months, and found that the quality and service had taken a massive dive from when I used to visit regularly a few years back.

However, my visit the other day was quite surprisingly good. Friends of mine ordered food, which came quickly, was cooked properly and was tasty. The staff were friendly and had no problems with large drinks orders. All of which is a massive improvement on my last visit.

I will no doubt be going back again soon to see if it was a one off or if it's back to its old self!

This place annoys me. Food is never done correctly. i have had so many bad or boring experiances here that i wont bother going back. The staff seem disinterested, you can come and go without anyone noticing, normally with their heads down or talking to their colleagues at the bar. Food seems like its been microwaved all the time and very salty. Head to the Bax castle if you want good food.

Great burgers, good portion sizes, staff were friendly and good with the children.. Prices are very reasonable given the good quality of the food on offer. Only negative was the overbearing flashing fairy lights that surrounded the table. Probably not a problem for the majority but not for the more sensitive eye.

The Lintot looks like a cookie cutter chain pub but we've found it better quality and a nice experience overall. It is worth a try if you want to stay in the village and enjoy a straightforward family meal.

Wouldn't usually come here, the staff were friendly and service was good. Was not very busy as was early in the day and only attending a wake. I didn't eat here so 4 stars is a fair reflection.

Waited nearly 15 mins for 2 coffees. When meal eventually arrived it was not what we had ordered. Service terribly slow. Food not to standatd of previous visits.

This is a very average pub but good for a quick drink. It's big enough to fit our big family even when it's busy so that's a good thing.

Terrible, slow service even before it got busier and then they had some music thing on upstairs which was very loud and very very bad!

Very pleasant evening meal, staff friendly and willing to serve, makes a change to have smiling and happy waitresses.

Great atmosphere, friendly and relaxed. Reasonably priced food and drink. Toilets clean as are tables and chairs.

Alright pub, with mediocre to bad food. However, it is the only place within 3 miles that is open for dinner

Food really good. Just such a shame we had to wait so long to order each course and it wasn't busy.

Food quite good but the atmosphere was too much like eating in McDonald's for my taste!

Good beer but no atmosphere, hard to develop I suppose in a newish building.
