My son and I attended an invitation to a birthday party here at Stubbers. It was a jet skiing afternoon celebration and yes it was fun packed from the moment he arrived. Stubbers has been around for many yrs I can remember as a child visiting the camping park which is soo much more now. There's a park packed with activities and things to do or absolutely nothing if you'd prefer to kick back and enjoy the surroundings with nature.

Disabled parking makes things a little easier but assistance or a powered scooter would be advised. The staff I met wasn't very helpful almost awkward to approach, kids leading kids kind of mentality but all helps with keeping running costs down I suppose.

It's my sons birthday soon and I must admit it would certainly be a contender for a fun packed afternoon burning off that pent-up energy for a group of young lads. Overall a pleasant visit and a nice afternoon.

Stubbers has been around since I was young!! And I absolutely loved it, with its huge grounds, hills, underground tunnels and lakes.
My son is 7 and loves going here in the half term with Smash Camps. There is so much to do such as rock climbing, archery, camping, learning to make a fire, driving a 4x4, canoeing, and lots more! Everytime he comes home he's exhausted, happy and bursting with stories about how brave he's been. And he's become way more adventurous too.
You can book online for weekends and on Bank Holidays for activities for solo, families and groups.
There is something for everyone there. And long may it continue to thrive

My son went for a school trip and was there 4 nights. He enjoyed activities but was extremely unhappy about a tent for night sleeps. The tent was leaking and dripping on the children during their sleep the first and the second nights and he couldn't sleep sitting on the bed wide awake during the nights. In spite there was no rain that day and night the staff didn't bother to change that tent for another one. It is devastating to know that in sending the children there we trusted they would be properly looked after. As it appeared they did not care and did not react to this situation to make their rest well.

My daughter had a great day here but as myself and my sister were the only parents that stayed on site it is unfortunate that I didnt see the adults praising the children enough and encouraging them.. they were very quiet and considering they work with children I expected better. Also some children had more goes on the jet skiis then others, which had upset some children and when we asked why, they said there wasn't enough time?! That is simply not good enough. Besides that, they enjoyed themselves and were knackered out. a great way for your children to learn team work and get lots of exercise.

Great place for families and groups to enjoy outdoor activities such as climbing, off road diving, canoeing, jet skiing, sailing, lazer tag and loads more.
Visited here for last 3 years with a group of physically challenged youngsters and the staff are always very willing to help out. Great place for young people to get outdoors and build their confidence. The facilities are always very accessible to all and very safe to use. Wonderfully helpful, friendly and very well trained staff. A great place to visit.

Very disappointing of how the site operates. Not a lot of info about Stubbers before entering on the day,

Gents Toilets are disgusting when children don't flush the toilets on school summer holidays,

Canteen prices are slightly expensive,

No larger size clothing, (eg. floating vests, camo suits, etc) for large built adults.

Activities are great if they are not too much rules for adults as rules should apply for children's safety.

A superbly run centre for individuals, families, schools and other groups, with everyihing from raft building challenge to sailing, archery to rifle shooting, climbing walls to high wires, commando course to tunnelling. Overnight accommodation in comfy tents or lodge. Superb 'The Source' cafe, open to the public.
Very well managed with friendly instructors.

Really love this place. Been coming here for years only rediscovered the cafe a short while ago. Brilliant staff, management and great freshly prepared food. Would definitely recommend this eatery to all ages. Also good fun watching the youngsters enjoying the canoes on the lake.... who needs cabaret.

My Year 6 class came here after SATS and had a great time. My son has done days at SMASH camp too. He did laser tag, archery and sailing, to name a few of the activities. The staff are well trained, activities organised and kids all come out safe, happy, having learnt new skills. Highly recommended!

We always have a brilliant time with our lads and ladies who have disabilities here. The staff are great. We enjoyed our selves out on the sailing boats this time. The 4x4 driving is usually a big hit here. Cannot wait till we return to try another activity.

I went to school trip to stubbers and my opinion is high. The bedrooms are clean, tasty food, the only problem is the toilets. They are DISGUSTING. Other than that Stubbers is a good place for school trips.
