The staff were lovely. They helped me and my family in and when ordering included my disabled brother (who is unable to speak). The food was great and freshly prepared. They even shared a recipe or two with us when we asked about a specific part of the meal. The food arrived promptly and the entire process could be seen from where we were sitting. Amazingly, after all this for a family of 4, the cost was about £25!

Overall, at this cost, I don't think that you could go anywhere else and get the same level of service, food quality and staff engagement. I would highly recommend Bakchich Lebanese to anyone visiting Liverpool.

Visited this restaurant as a group of five friends following a night out around Liverpool. The food was cooked well and presented beautifully. There was a good selection of meat based and vegetarian meals which suited our group. The service was fast and the staff members were attentive to our needs. The restaurant does not serve alcohol, and whilst this wasn't particularly an issue for our group I can understand that others may potentially look at going to the Turkish meze restaurant over the road. Don't let a lack of alcohol put off a visit. It's lovely food and well worth a visit.

Great food, service and ambience, came here after looking for a non mainstream place to eat that did not do usual run if the mill food. We where not disappointed vege mezze is the way to go to start. If you like salmon then that too is very nice with the Arabic rice and salad.

Only 1 small criticism is that there is not much space between the tables and we heard numerous crashes of things when some left their tables.

Don't let that put you off as it's a great place to eat and people watch

What a fantastic restaurant, brilliant atmosphere, fantastic service and awesome food.
All I will say is this is one of the best meals out I have had in a long time and is in my top 3 of meals I've enjoyed.
They catered for all our dietary needs from gluten free, vegetarian and dairy free requirements.

I highly recommend this restaurant, the next time I'm in Liverpool I will go out of my way to eat here again. Enjoy!

I now have a lovely, happy, full stomach. Wonderfully tastey food, friendly staff, and not too heavy on the pocket. Portions are just right verging on large, and serving is fast but that does not mean it cuts back on quality. (Vegetarian/Vegan options were yum, definitely isn't one of those establishments that just serves salad or chips for anyone who doesn't eat meat which I'm very grateful for)
Will definitely come back!

We absolutely love coming here. We started coming here when it first opened years ago and regularly come back. It’s Lebanese street food, so much choice. The tea is good, the lemonades are good too. The mixed grill is to die for. Lebanese rice is lovely. Staff very attentive and friendly. They’ve changed the restaurant around a bit recently and there is more room now so you don’t feel quite as claustrophobic. Hope it’s success continues

Bakchich was not as good as I was expecting. I had shawarma, and while it did taste good and was relatively filling, it was just sort of bland like it needed more seasoning. The whole experience was also let down because we were sat by the window where there was a cold draught, and later on I had a bit of indigestion. If I went again I would try something else as I feel like it can be good under the right circumstances

Eat here last night with friends , amazing mixed platter ... lovely and fresh and full of flavour. The lad who served us was brilliant , I was a bit worse for wear but I’m sure his name was riashe or something , anyway give him a pay rise ha. The fact they don’t sell alcohol didn’t really bother me as the juices fitted just right with the meal. Will come back with the Mrs soon . 10/10 cheers

Great food and very reasonably priced. The Lebanese cheesecake is a must! Doesn't usually take bookings and doesn't serve alcohol. Sometimes a wait as it's popular, casual dress code and starters often served with main or just before as its classed as street food. Which is something similar to fast food. Don't let that discourage you, the quality of food is very high.

Loved it here. Went at lunchtime and were only waiting two minutes to be seated. I'm happy to see a busy restaurant, it's a good sign usually. The food was just delicious, aromatic and full of wonderful flavours with very generous portions. The staff were lovely and it was great to eat somewhere with different choices on the menu. I will most certainly be going back.

Incredible food, at fabulous prices, served by some of the happiest, most accommodating and pleasant staff I have met. I can't recommend this place highly enough. 5 of us shared a couple of mezze platters and could barely eat our mains, the servings are generous and it was all beautiful. Well done to whoever is behind this, you've got an absolute gem on your hands!

Our first visit and an enjoyable one. A pleasant environment and, when we visited Bakchich was busy. Friendly, helpful staff, a menu to make your mouth water and the meals served were of excellent quality and very tasty.
Note: no alcohol available but a wide choice of drinks are available.
I'm sure we will be visiting again.

Its got so much atmosphere, the menu is extensive and the food was delicious. I had mixed shawarma platter, the plate was piled with chicken, lamb, salad, fries and only £6.50. The flavours of the food and side salads that we bought as extras, were wonderful with different combinations of spices. Can't wait to go back!!

tried this place for the first time yesterday and ordered a chicken shawma. It was simple and tasted really nice, but weirdly gave me food poisoning that I’m suffering pretty badly from today. Also, the table by the window gets extremely cold!!! A real shame because waitresses were lovely and was a really nice atmosphere.

Brilliant budget restaurant. Though I would prefer their posh branch in the centre. Serves the same food at same price but with a better view and better ambiance. I would suggest the wraps which are fantastic but halwa stuff is a no go. Frozen yogurt is definitely a no go. Very nice for quick grabs. Service is super.

Very busy & for a very good reason.

Staff were friendly and helpful - even telling us when a table further back away from the door (when we came in the only table was directly in front of it).

And the food was amazing - the best falafel I've had in a very long time.

Nice simple food, friendly staff and cheap. Food was served almost imidiately, portions were huge so did each piece of salad but everyone's taste is different especially when it comes to the food presentation.. although meet was a bit dry.. again some people might like crispy.. chicken

After living in Liverpool for a year now I can safely say that Bakchich is my favourite eatery hands down. Amazing food, friendly staff and cheap prices in such a great location. Recommend to anyone who likes middle eastern food, or just want to try something new.

The food is ok
Was a bit cold and chewy.
You can go once but the experience really depends on how crowded the place is.
I had a pizza and shawarma platter.
The pizza was good.
The shawarma not so much.
The staff is really friendly.

I have nothing to complain about here! Food is great and many healthy options. Service was great too! I think the manager may have been at the door greeting us in and out of the restaurant which was very pleasant. Clean environment and busy at lunch times.

Expect to queue at lunch time and in the evening, but it's well worth it. Speedy service and delicious food. A few decent vegan options (the veggie mezze can be made vegan) and great Arabic coffee, Bakchich is a regular lunch time favourite for me.

Disappointing, bland favourless food. Lamb wrap looked tasty meat was infact cold chewy too oily and underseasoned. Ketchup was very cheap imitation. Staff friendly but food very disdapointjng I'm afraid. Have had much better Lebanese food.

Not sure where great ratings come from. Service was slow and inattentive esp as it was very quiet. Food was incredibly oily and sauce on my food clearly came out of a tin. Pretty awful compared with what I've eaten in London and abroad.

I've never had a dull meal at Bakchich, the food is cooked with love and passion and the waiting staff are really friendly and attentive. There is also a good selection on the menu, whether it be food, drinks or deserts.

Superb shawarma, and great staff service. We visited twice over a long weekend, and both visits ended with nods of appreciation from my wife and I, along with my (ordinarily unadventurous) in-laws who raved about the food!

Great food!

I was recommended here by my hotel front desk and I was not disappointed. Food was really good and menu had excellent choices. Pink lemonade was an absolute joy and portions are very generous.

The food was really amazing. The different spices used comes out really well in taste. Though took longer due to early hours. Didn't like the sweet dishes :(. But the overall experience was really good.

This is an authentic Lebanese restaurant with superb salads and main courses They do not have a license for alcohol but the fruit drinks are delicious. My only criticism is that the restaurant is a bit cold inside.

If you've not tried here - you must. Staff are so friendly and the food is excellent. I've never once been disappointed with my meal choices. Great to choosing something different to try each time I come.

Food is totally delicious! Service is very fast, but it's noisy and crowded and it's not a place to take your time over a meal - they bring your main course before you have finished your starter.
