The Shop was one of the main reasons I wanted to move to Kensal Rise. It has a really cool vibe about it, you'll always see familiar faces at the bar of their regulars which makes it seem a bit of a home away from home, just with amazing cocktails (only £6 - unheard of in London!) and an impressive selection of bar snacks and bigger bites to eat for the extra hungry.

Weekends host a vintage clothing pop-up shop, so you can browse the well priced goodies after chilling out with one of the best cups of coffee in Kensal Rise. While the wait time for food is a little longer than you'd usually expect to wait, it is worth it - just give the bar staff a nudge to chase the food! We've had everything from Mexican to Vietnamese food here, part of their pop-up restaurant nights or just part of their usual menu. Each time the food as been spot on. The brunch is damn delicious too!

The cocktails here are strong, tasty and well made. That is all you really need to know. Everything else is superfluous. Though that being said the interior is pretty cool with amazing pieces of art constantly in rotation which can be purchased at any time. The tables are all repurposed rickety desks and there is a fun quirky atmosphere in here. Most cocktails are served in jam jars or old milk bottles and are around £8 but well worth the money. The music can be really varied, especially if the owner is choosing, but it's a great place to spend an evening.

They also do food! I've been here for pop up kitchen events which have had varying success but the food here when it's being served is always of a high standard and isn't very pricy either.

This was my second visit here which to he say the very least was just as memorable. I'm not sure if it's the familiar Caribbean music flowing or the warm reception I had from the Parisian bar tender who happily spoke to me for the best part of 40 mins as he mixed and I then drank a few delicious cocktails. This place gets five stars simply because of the excellent customer service I received, the chilled out vibe of the bar and the general easy going ambience I felt as soon as I walked through the door. Other patrons are just as friendly and will strike up a conversation at the drop of a hat.

The perfect end to any day (or start to any night.) Chilled and cool, here you will feel instantly at home surrounded by a wonderful mix of artwork, photography and furniture, all which is available to purchase. Almost directly opposite Kensal Rise station and a hop, skip and jump away from my favourite Paradise. One pop to The Shop and you just won't stop! The menu has a fabulous array of cocktails. Our favourite was the Gin Gin Mule, all gingery and fresh with the added novelty of coming served in a jam jar - of course it tastes better this way!

Sat down and waited for the 'cool' waiter to come by. He gets our drinks order and asks if we want to eat. We say yes just give us 5 mins to decide what we want. He comes by again to get the order and he says sorry we are out of beef burgers and fries... Really? The place has beef and chicken burgers and normal and sweet potato fries. How is it possible to be out of beef burger in a burger place and only tell us after we get our drinks when we told him we wanted to eat.... what a joke.

I have been here for breakfast and really enjoyed the atmosphere: Spanish Flamenco-style music followed by some Jazz; mismatched furniture and peculiar crockery (ask for some tap water and you'll know what I mean...).
The food was the delicious and the coffee was just perfect. I had a cappuccino which was frothy enough and not too strong.
Will definitely go back to try the French Toast and their cocktails.

The shop brings the Kensal area that fun quirky cocktail bar vibe it's been longing for. Serving cocktails out of jam jars and playing funk/jazz tunes through out the night, they've created a fun cosy ambience. Their rum of recommendation is Kranken, and they know how to throw together a great dark and stormy. At £6 per cocktail - great value for money - highly recommended.

Previously a wine bar, The Shop is a great local and independent bar in Kensal Rise where everything, as well as the drinks, is for sale. Here the relaxed and friendly atmosphere is coupled with quality drinks and humble prices...

We highly recommend a visit to NW10 and to read more visit the Twenty Something London website

The shop is the best bar/pub in the area in my opinion. It has a cool offbeat vibe that you might expect to find in a more trendy part of town .Staff are grear, Ben is the kind of barman you get in an indy movie, laid back, friendly and willing to shoot the breaze on any subject.

Its a typical kinda local high street bar that serves coctails. No frills decor and sometimes does bar snacks. Good coctail list and very reasonable. South American kind of feel to it and canteena style furniture. Friendly smiley staff.

For cocktails, The Shop is great. Local crowd, unpretentious and fun. Different rotating pop-up restaurants serve food, but sometimes there is a stretch of no restaurant in place, so availability of food is a bit hit or miss.

Great little bar featuring some interesting cocktail combinations. Really friendly and cozy. It's small, so you might not get a table if you're a large group, but don't let that stop you from visiting!

Brilliant local bar for Kensal Rise. Amazing cocktails and even better Mexican food, all very reasonably priced. A glass of (good) white wine for less than £4! Especially good on Wednesdays - wings night...

Tahini brunch food was good, everything else was a disaster. Chaos, noise and they charged us an extra £1.5 for bread, since the two slices of bread we got with the meal were insufficient. Avoid.

Bizarre place. Zero atmosphere. Freezing cold. Bar staff seem to be surly teenagers hanging out with their mates. Went before a long time ago and realised why I haven't gone back. Awful.

Nice athmosphere and good service, but quite overpriced in my opinion (5.95 for a pint of lager) compared to the other pubs next door. Not ideal for a catch up and a few pint with friends

Great chilled out hang out. Good music, they have special food residents, killer cocktails and good wine. Plus you can literally pay anything there; tables, chairs, paintings.

The pop up Shorty's dishes out superb burgers. Truffle & Parmesan fries are unforgettable. Will be back to try the peanut butter BBQ ribs very soon...

Really good food and chilled out atmosphere. Quite small so best to get there earlier on the weekends if you'd like to get a table and/or have food
