Congratulations YODEL, thanks for NOT delivering my parcel yet again. I have received your confirmation email regarding it's signed for delivery, and also a text message at 6-00am this morning, but no parcel. You really are the worst courier delivery company in the modern world, you portray a wonderful website, with all the information anyone can possibly need, but just try and actually use it, you're faced with 'Rate your delivery' - 'Track your parcel' etc, which then directs you to an 'Invalid Session ID, Please try again'. Next obvious step then seems to be, to contact you by the webchat facility, which annoyingly keeps hovering around the screen. But no, that constantly states that 'We're talking, Please try again later' or 'Sorry we've shut up for the day' Then the next obvious thing for anyone, would be to try and phone you, VERY WRONG, my Daughter tried that one, when something very similar happened to her regarding a YODEL delivery. I was charged £17-21p for the privilege of her using your premium phone line, whilst trying to rectify the problem, which only ended with me having to go to our 'Local' YODEL depot which is a 42 mile round trip. The depot appears to have no address, only a postcode, which by the way, when using a satellite navigation system only takes you down a lane. I was lucky to spot a YODEL van, and followed it all the way to the depot. Don't even think that I will be contacting you by your premium line, I know the law very well, your contract is not with me, but with the seller. They will be sorting it, not me. I will be concentrating fully, on distributing this complaint on every available review site, inclusive of every social media site I can possibly think of, including the seller. Because I know you will just send me a standard reply, just like you do to everyone else who has the audacity to complain. But believe me, when I say that you are worse than useless, and that you really do need to concentrate on what the customer really wants, and that is not an all singing and dancing website that does absolutely nothing for them when things go wrong. You ask on your complaints form, what can we do now? Well after having waited in all day for a parcel that didn't arrive, awoken at 6am on a Sunday morning by a text, informing me that the parcel has been delivered, well were is it then? Do not send me a standardised letter of apology, it wont work with me. And as for compensation, put simply, don't bother, I will gain satisfaction from sharing my experiences with YODEL by every means I think fitting. Hopefully if this review stops just one person from dealing with the incompetent company that you are, then that will be good, but hopefully by using social media etc, this may equate to many many millions, and that would be fantastic.

Recent experience with Yodel, supposed to deliver a parcel which I ordered through eBuyer on May 11.

Package did not arrive (no doorbell rang, no phone call). Went online to see status: 'Sorry we missed you. We've left you a calling card 11 may 19:31' - whilst being in all day specifically to receive this parcel.

Went to check my mailbox to see the calling card -\\u003e mailbox was empty (taken photo of this with timestamp roughly 15 minutes later than the status message).

Next step: rearranging the delivery. Filled in the required information to reschedule the delivery on the website yodel/reschedule, but the page wouldn't continue after filling in all details and ticking the boxes. (Decided to refresh my cache, erase cookies and turn off any ad blockers -\\u003e still the same result).

Tried to get in touch with chat service, but whenever refreshing the page it would continuously say that it would take 2 minutes for chat to become available due to high volumes.

Downright dissapointing. Yodel is by far the worst delivery service I've experienced so far.

-UPDATE SECOND DAY AND DELIVERY ATTEMPT-

12 May

Again, no parcel delivered. no call made by the driver (even when specifically request upon rescheduling, and confirmed by Yodel chat support). Same message: Sorry we missed you we've left a calling card at 12 may 17:59. Went again to check, no card was left -\\u003e even had CCTV footage checked and no driver or yodel anywhere in sight.

Outrageously bad service, full of lies. Most unreliable delivery service i've experienced.

God bless the gentleman who's works at my local depot. (Borehamwood) because if it wasnt for him I'm certain I wouldn't have received my items at all. I've live in two areas, one Hertfordshire, one Middlesex, and two business address's, again, some distance apart. ALL FOUR ADDRESSES ARE A PROBLEM FOR YODEL!! I provided my phone number as recommended by the retailer. So when I was lied to three times that there had been an attempted delivery I simply rang up and suggested that the delivery person just give me a quick call when they arrive and I'll pop out. 20 seconds I estimate. I was told rather rudely that the delivery staff are not obliged to call a client.

Now if that is how they operate no wonder they have such terrible reviews. If the drivers are tasked on packages delivered rather than except a poor level of service I'm sure the business would be in a better position to give their clients what they've bought and paid for on time.

As a contrast, DPD call ahead, send texts ahead with hour time slots. I had a driver really go out of his way to deliver to me and I didn't even ask. I've had business next door call my mobile because their driver was so intent on delivery my package.

DPD make yodel look like a joke. Unfortunately it's a joke at our expense. Every order I make I ask if it's yodel and change it if it is. I'd rather not have to do that.

And also there were four bottles of urine in your car park that a freelance driver left out his car before he went home.

Maybe employ more staff and task them to deliver.

What a complete shambles of a company, I received an email last Friday telling me a card was posted through my door and my parcel was delivered to a neighbour, neither of which happened, I contacted the driver who was very rude and became quite aggressive and in the end hung up on me, the only other way to contact anyone in this company is via we chat, so I did and was told there would be an investigation and I would hear something in 24hrs, which I did, they told me the parcel was delivered to number 23, there is no number 23 it does not exist, back onto web chat and was told there would be another investigation and I would hear something back in 24hrs, I received an email on Monday again saying it was delivered to number 23 the address that doesn't exist. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Only wish I could give zero stars, brought two canvas from photobox, my partner is in the house 24/7 with our new born and yet yodel claimed they attempted to deliver twice and we wasn't in, I let the first one go on the second I rang their number and spent over 30 minutes trying to get through to someone , once I did the lady was very apologetic and said it would be back with me that night, yet nothing turned up and when I tried to call back I was put on hold and then cut off after three minutes! A terrible company and I will no longer use photobox because of Yodel

A stone age company brandishing cowboy service. It is impossible to complain. Though the law states a company must provide a proper complaints procedure Yodel regularly flouts UK law. In this way they avoid accountability for one of the poorest services in the UK. About time regulators forced them to comply with UK law and hold Mike Cooper, their CEO to account - preferably in front of parliament. As per previous, like their complaints process, zero is not an option.

Such a bad service, this company stole my parcel! I am sure. How come my parcel was lost!!! I had been waiting for it since 7th Nov 2017. Then when I called to Yodel, some staff just said it was lost and without notifying the recipient. Also, the tracking on the website just shows 'STATUS:DELAY'. I don't understant. Is that gonna be delay for 10 years or for a life? Will I still get my parcel? If someone could clarify this, please contact me directly.

I send a to be signed parcel with a value of 400 pound send of to Frinton. My friend (the receiver of the parcel) was out. So without signing for it the parcel was put next to the bin bags in the soaking rain. When my friend arrived the parcel was soaking wet and completely ruined.
I complained but didn't get a reply. Had to go to court after 8 weeks before Yodel was convicted. ...

Shocking!!!!! They opened my parcel, took out my dog grooming scissors and clipper blades then disposed of them, re-sealed the parcel and sent the rest of the items to my repair/sharpening people. They never informed me, the first I knew was from my repair company. This equipment is worth over £250 and now I cannot work, they are mindless, unhelpful, useless indidividuals

Avoid using this company. The worst delivery company I have ever experienced.they said that they had left a card twice at my door as I wasn't it. Not only was I in on both occasions, they hadn't left a card for me. Trying to talk to them was th worse as they have a automatic telephone line and the online web chat didn't,t work. Discusting from this business.

NEVER NEVER NEVER use Yodel. I have been trying to contact the company an it is actually impossible to speak to a human being. Im trying to find out which one of their drivers stole the bluetooth head phones I ordered. The item was delivered to Hatfield and apparently sent out for delivery, then the headphones vanished. DO NOT USE YODEL

The more disgusting place i meet at now about conditions of work. By the way a senior member tell me explicit: in this place when people complain is not welcome. I need teach another manager's do the job in proper way. I hope never need visit this place again. Is dirty and really bad management.

Never, ever again. Absolutely rubbish company. Tried to get them to collect from me on 5 occasions for one parcel and eventually gave up. Their driver never even attempted to collect! Can you phone them? NO. Can you drop your parcel off? NO! DO NOT RISK USING YODEL IF IT'S AN IMPORTANT PARCEL.

We've sent 2 parcels through LCP and yodel to a customer and BOTH have been lost in this depot. No problems anywhere else on the network, but anything that goes through this depot seems to disappear Customers not happy at all and you can't get through to a human to discuss!
