Horrific. Obviously there is a 'trade off' - if you want cheap prices you have to put up with 2/3 checkouts being open when the store is absolutely packed! 45 minutes I had to wait in the queue for the checkouts! People were arguing about 'queue jumpers', and overall getting very stressed. The entire wine aisle was a inaccessible due to it being used to queue down!
Aisles are not wide enough for the new large trollies they have either.
They have brilliant products and at great prices but this experience ruined it for me.

Staff, rude and very unhelpful. Shame the shop is nice and new, but looks like a total tip. Piles of stock everywhere, packing rubbish thrown and left in the aisles, chilled items left in the aisles, Checkouts packed and only 2 open. Grumpy rude staff...... The list goes on. Tescos is more expensive but you get what you pay for, helpful friendly staff and a clean and tidy store!! Sort it out Lidl!!!!

Found a soggy wasp in the raspberrys, mouldy pears and checkout staff who couldn't care less about damaging your items! One male member of staff flung the biscuits down so fast they were ruined. Not to mention the fact I was packing my bags on my own with my shopping flying down the belt at 90mph. The staff are clueless and don't even offer to help!

Decent sized new Lidl, a little bit of competition for the other supermarkets in Blandford. Not too sure why but people have a habit of standing in the aisle and either having a full blown conversation or just blocking it with their trolley whilst they read the labels of all the items in front of them, very frustrating.

Brand new branch well positioned on the outskirts of Blandford. Nice large car park but trolleys are still a pound (refundable). Store is large and well stocked, checkouts are improved and there are some self service ones as well.
All in all an improved shopping experience from some older branches.

Would appreciate an express basket only aisle, not self service. Several people in the long queue we were in proposed the same thing. Otherwise brilliant store, would recommend everyone in local area to visit for quality, freshness of product and reasonable prices.

By far the best lidl I've been too ... could do with a bit of a clean and tidy up but has the best range of products and everything you could ask for. The gentleman on the self-service tills provided excellent customer service and knowledge!

Products are great but the trolleys have no safety straps and they are only single seater and have no brakes, and the til staff think throwing your stuff across the scanner as fast as they can will make you pack faster.

Great Lidls with top quality food and services, only problems is the parking system is not very good on busy days. We had to wait half an hour to get in and another half an hour to get out. Other than that great place.

Range is good but slightly lacking the more mainstream supermarkets. The bakery section is EXCEPTIONAL !! Overall fantastic value compared to other supermarkets. Always first on my list for shopping now

Nice store spoilt by lack of checkouts open. Resorted to self service, usually avoid these like the plague, and had to be rescued by assistant about four times. Please just open more check outs!!

Always a great way to watch your money and save on essential items. Just wish the policy of timing your cashiers on transactions was stopped as its impossible to even consider packing at till.

I was visiting family here came to the store some moody staff there, ( health and safety???) Tripped over empty boxes in the store not enough tills open go to lidle up north never had this

A wonderful store, with polite and friendly staff. A good variety of confectionary! With a mix of European brands and popular uk ones to boot.

Fun fact Lidl is pronounced leedl.

Lovely modern supermarket with (mostly) decent food at a good price. It's a shame that the self-service tills don't open until around 9am, but otherwise, no complaints.

Could not wait for lidle to come to blandford I used to go to Dorchester rather than tescos in blandford two miles further but more satisfactory on the pocket

Very nice layout and self service is good especially since they rarely have more then 2 tills open, and got free toilet roll last week for spending over £20

A great modern store with good produce. Lots of parking and a good choice of stock. Needed restocking when I visited, but there was enough tills open

Closer than Tesco cash registers are to close to the isles therefore making a big crowd at the end of each isle. Other than that it's great

Very big toilets fantastic and self service that actually work properly. Loads of car parking spaces make sure u have a pound for the trollies

Great addition to the town great prices on food bought my weekly shop price down by a third and good service from the staff with a smile

Best Lidl I've ever been in. Only criticism is, it can get very busy at peak times and they are a bit delayed opening new tills.

Great store. Lots of top quality food. The range changes frequently so don't delay in buying or you will miss your opportunity

5 by Roland Skeats Review source

The usual Lidl quality and value, but they seem to be short-staffed and constantly battling to keep enough stock on the shelves.

Store still setting down after opening, better availability and tidiness. As always good range of products at competitive prices.

Its Lidl! What more needs to be said! Bargains & excellent grub at sensible prices, clean, bright modern store! A+++++

This is a really nice Lidl. There is plenty of parking and a bit of shade if you park next to the store in the afternoon.

Lovely store, could do with more staff, no point having lots of tills without the operatives. Good choice of goods tho

Shop carefully you're alright. Many of the cheap brands are nasty. Some aren't. Fruit and veg has been poor.
