Busy, noisy, without soul-sorry, not my favourite retail place. Great for teenagers, I guess, promenading on a Saturday, there to be seen but just too much for me as a boring 50 year old. .... There are in fact better malls and arcades off the high street, better shops too... Just my opinion.

The department store at the end of the first level is probably the draw but you have Debenhams on the high street next to the Yvonne Arnaud theatre.

HMV just gave me a massive headache... Arrrghh

Nice shopping centre. I don't really enjoy shopping, so when I do have to go into usually know what I want/need to get before entering into set foot in a store. The Friary isn't too big so you won't get lost in here, but it also has a good selection of high-street favourite.

The food court on the top floor has a mix of standard fast food with a couple of Asian eateries. I recommend trying the Thai Express!

Friary shopping centre has changed in last couple of years only for better. This centre now is a home of some fashion forward brands. It has a great eating place and best of all the main entrance on North Street is right opposite us. So if you need help with hiring suits for a wedding or a big day at the Royal Ascot Racecourse then you should give us an opportunity to serve you. We are just behind Metro Bank.

Fantastic place. Very busy but adequate place to charge up phone. My favourite shop is tiger. If I go in I can't get out again. The staff at friary are so friendly and helpful. Excellent security too concierge is great. You always know you are safe in the centre. Very comfortable seating and a late shopping night on Thursday night's. You can shop till eight pm. Enjoy shopping till you drop. Jane

I regularly visit this place as i have to take my aunt. Amazing place if u r a regular shopper, unlike me who's mostly a window shopper. Sales are occasional and prices doesn't alter much. You get whatever u pay for. The items are of high Quality, food court is the best. Would be even beťter if there was a children play area there. I have't seen it there if it exists as well.

Shopping centre in Guildford. Not sure when it was built, but it’s been there since I can remember. Lots of shops, Holland and Barrett, tiger, Boux Avenue, fuel, urban outfitters, Accessorise, Louisa, primark...can’t think of them all. Aside from the centre, there are shops outside on the nearby streets...an m & s, a paperchase, Boots, WHSmith, Sainsburys, Lush, Yo Sushi.

Friary has always been good place to shop for clothes, with something for most people's price range from Armani to superdry too primark. Plenty places to grab something to eat, drink sit down or take away. The only thing I would say is they should never of shut foot locker being big trainer fan sadly it's one thing lacking a decent trainer shop in Guildford..

A clean spacious shopping centre with shops for all budgets. Food court has a good selection of retailers to choose from but can be very crowded at lunch time. The bus station is right outside and the train station is only about a 5 minute walk. Unfortunately being in Guildford the traffic can be horrendous and parking can be difficult at peak hours.

Typical town centre shopping area. Lots of the same old, overpriced chain shops and cafes. Relatively easy to park in Bedford road multi story and walk over foot bridge to shopping centre. Parking is the usual dreary, overpriced provision. Get there before 11am though as it's pretty packed after that.
There are much nicer places to shop ...

Brilliant, massive shopping centre with three floors the third floor being a food court with plenty of food stations to choose from.

Easy access to each floor there is 2 lifts, 2 escalaters and it's right next door to the bus station and only a 2-3 minute walk from the train station.

A basic Centre with some great shops. Creamtease looks fascinating but unfortunately was closing . Confusing parking. Could not find disabled parking entrance adjacent car park but generous spacing and great to be able to access shopping centre with wheelchair and keep dry in the rain.

This shopping is okay. Nothing overly exciting about it. Was very happy when Zara moved in other than that not massively enthused by shops in offer here. Facilities are normally nit the cleanest when I've used them over the years. Shop fronts look smarter after the revamp.

Good range of shops . A short walk from the train station in the centre of town centre . Roads are busy surrounding the friary so take care and use the crossings located by the main entrances.
You can walk through to get to the older streets and independent retailers .

Lots of amazing places to shop probably not the best if Ur about customer service as you have to ask your self if you want help but if your after a nice quiet shop (some people prefer not to be bothered) it's a great place one of my favourite places locally

I was there yesterday, it's okay. It's difficult to get excited by it unless you never go to other shopping centres. It's got some good shops and it's got some coffee places. It's compact and warm and there are loos. Not bad.

A lovely shopping centre. Has all the shops on trend and fashion. Also the top floor has McDonald's subway and a whole host of other food restaurants. The queues seemed to go quick and the staff were very helpful in assisting me.

As shopping centres go this one isn't bad. Has two levels with lots of stores. A food hall on a third level offering a good range of food choices. It's busy and can feel a bit cramped at peak times. Can get hot in there too.

Not a bad mall for the town of Guildford, offers a range of high Street stores such as Zara, Hollister and Superdry. Also a few of the lesser spotted stores such as muji and urban outfitters. Decent sized food court on the top floor.

This place used to have a bit more appeal when I was younger. Very few shops in here are now worth visiting in my opinion. Having said that, the usual fashion/clothing/footwear shops you'd find in other cities can be found here.

There is a lot of big named business in the complex. The whole complex is very clean. And there are plenty of cafe's. Next and Primark have very, Very, big stores. The bus station is right outside. So you won't get wet.

I had left my bag, and I called the friary and told them to check for me and told them the exact place and I left it 30 mins ago and they couldn't put the effort in to go look but said it hasn't been handed in

User to go here as a student from university of Surrey, haven't been in a while but I have good memories of the place they regularly do sales so its a great place to shop and you can find almost anything there.

Old shopping centre with standard shops contained. Food hall at the top floor. Shops inside are well looked after. Bus station behind for good transport links and a short 15 minutes walk to the train station.

A little tired especially compared with its larger neighbour across the road. It's trying to be a cross between a high street and shopping centre and other than the Next, not a destination shopping area

Parent room including microwave, bottle warmer, curtained room with chair, two changing mats and easy to use door.
But lifts were very slow at times - seemed like button was not connected properly

It's not as good as it used to be. It was filthy when we visited. Not that easy for disabled people to use. It's ok if you know what you need but there are better places for a days shopping.
