The absolute worst PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We had our office Christmas dinner there. Food was late, extremely disorganised, understaffed so half of the table had their meal whilst the other half waited 20 mins foe it to arrive. I had a roast and it was an absolute disaster. The pig in blankets were definitely undercooked and probably raw, I couldn't eat it. There was barely any food on the plate. The roast potatoes were Aunt Bessie's and completely undercook, they were disgusting. I could only eat the vegetables and turkey. I complained about the potatoes (along with a colleague) and we were given more potatoes still UNDERCOOKED! I will NEVER GO BACK. And also I'm pretty sure I got ill from the food I did eat. Please avoid!!!!

My family (four) and I like eating out a lot, and I can honestly say that this place is the worst of the worst! Nice decoration, but food tasted like it came straight from a frozen brand and the burger (burnt and dry) and duck dishes we ordered were way far TOO OVERCOOKED! Even though it was quite pricey and the service from the waitress was average, we did intend to tip (cash) her, but they added an optional service charge (12%) without checking with us first. We found it quite offensive and when asked them to remove it from the bill, they were rude and unfriendly! I think if those people choose to do this job which they already get paid for, they must do it properly without any expectation!

Caesar salad chicken was burned. Avocado with egg dish more look like not best supermarket sandwich. Mulled wine the most most disgusting I ever seen, sour and with pieces of something incomprehensible. Fresh orange juice 80 % of ice in a glass. Service as well so so. 12.5% for what??? We paid 50£ and rush to another place to have a better food and drink and recover mood. The worst experience of Cafe Rouge in London. St. Katherine's dock deserves better quality of places. Highly recommend to choose diffrent place to eat.

The location of this restaurant is the best thing it has. It's located in a small harbour, very beautiful and quiet. You can see it while you eat, since the restaurant has big glass walls/windows and also tables outside. It is decorated like a Parisian café. The food is not bad, but not the best I've tried, average (which doesn't mean bad). Eggs Benedictine for brunch were good. I had a crêpe another day for lunch and it was fine but not what I expected. The service is slow.

This must be one of the best located Cafe Rouge restaurants in London. Nestled in St. Katherine Dock’s (the end closest to Tower Bridge), you can sit outside and gawp at the gorgeous flats. And, as I discovered on my last visit, you don’t even have to stay for dinner. Drink reasonably-priced wine and order lots of bread with cheese if you want. It’s a really nice way to spend an evening, and when I was there, it didn’t seem to get too busy.

The service was good, food hot and cooked to my liking and service as one would expect for this group.
Suggest if more than 4 to pre book for evenings weekends, though some tables available for walk ins.
If you tip then ask for the optional service charge to be taken off the bill.
They add on more than one would expect for service charge as it includes all staff.

A net Location directly at the landing from the port. In summer you can spend some time here for lunch. The staff was quick and friendly, it was quite empty at my visit. Inside the restaurant, there is a clear line of decoration to match the environment. There is a wide selection of food and beverages. The food could be a little more refined and palatable.

Unacceptably pricy for the service quality. It took one hour for my table to get our first course. My dish wasn't served hot and with very few sides. Eventually, the waiter couldn't manage to have one bill for us all paid separately but had to split between every customer. Had they been polite, I would probably have given 2 stars...

Sunday lunch time service was very friendly and extremely quick. Food was cooked well and very tasty. Location is perfect with lovely view of the boats I'll never be able to afford - especially if I keep eating here. Set price menus are OK but a la carte is expensive for what it is, (even though it is in line considering where it is!).

This cafe rouge is rather nice indeed. The staff were friendly, waited around a bit longer than would have preferred but otherwise pleasant staff. The food is quite good as well. The kids menu is extremely good value and the sausages were of the highest quality. Location is good as well , probably very busy in the summer months.

We discovered this place after visiting the Tower of London and were delighted with the excellent food and service. (Try the onion soup) A special thanks to our server, Franceseo D'Angelo and others who took good care of us on a rainy day. We would definitely recommend Cafe Rouge at the waterfront at St Katharine Docks.

Terrible service! Was a busy Friday evening, but we were apparently invisible after being seated and order wasn't taken for 20 minutes. Mains took over an hour to arrive and then even when trying to pay had to go up to bar to get their attention. Food is decidedly mediocre. Avoid.

Underwhelming, but not bad. Service on the slow side, food acceptable but a little pricey. I think it could be much better if it strengthened the bistro vibe on the menu more, focus on more traditional café and bistro dishes, make the beer and wine menu a little more casual, etc.

Very friendly and approachable staff, good food and drinks although slightly overpriced (the lunch menu is ok). If the day is good you get a lovely view over St. Katherine's docks and the terrace has heaters so it's ok even during winter!

Both the main course - Bistro salad with chicken - and dessert I wanted weren't available. I could have had any other salad with chicken, but for some reason I couldn't have chicken with the salad I chose. Total lack of flexibility.

This was place fine. We came by here after the Tower of London. I had the little chorizo sausages and the French onion soup. Both were good but not great. Seemed pretty pricey for the quality. I wouldn't come back.

Great location over looking the docks. In summer it is a great place to while a way a lunch time...get a client along so you can take your time on 'business'!!! French cuisine well done at good prices.

Went here with a friend and really enjoyed it. It felt like being back in Paris. The food, wine and service were really good. We got a voucher from vouchercloud on my iphone and got 25% off the food bill, great!

Food was depressing. We ordered an onion soup and a beef bourguignon and they both looked like a gloopy mess of mud and water. Tasteless and bland. 60 pounds wasted, we should have ordered a kebab and paid less.

Brilliant when we went during the day (just for drinks) but staff were really inattentive in the evening, felt like a nuisance. However, food was good and drinks were lovely. Highly recommend the gin blumes

We stopped by for the £10 breakfast offer with coffee and juice. Food was great and service even better. The manageress was first class, a really great service professional who made us feel right at home.

I was upset as I heard bad news when I was there. One of the waiters came and give me glass of water and tesuee without saying a word to her. Very kind! Thank you.

Mediocre at best. So many better French options. French onion soup came out lukewarm and had a pinch of shredded cheese on top. Most disappointing meal I've ever had in London.

The olives just weren't good enough. Had all the same dishes as in other café Rouge's but this one just seemed to not be as good. Smaller and not as good quality dishes.

Nice place with a nice view of the hidden dock. I can only say something about coffee and cake I ordered - avoid sweets wide arc - custard, hard and stale, and coffee in order.

Amazing place for an English Breakfast (even if it's a French restaurant...). Try the eggs with mushrooms and truffles! Nice terrace on the docks and friendly service.

Awful time, manager Ludo was rude. We had to wait 45 min between our starter and main course, known the restaurant wasn't busy. Great for catching tourists.

Nice mussels a la mariniere. Delicious G&T, really nicely presented. The outside tables are in a suntrap, so perfect for a quiet lunch overlooking the Dock

Great view over a very nice marina. Such a sereen, beautiful spot close to the busy London centre. The staff could've been more aware of their guests.

The weakest hot chocolate I have ever had in my life. Looked and tasted like a half of the spoon of the choco powder into a cap of milk.....
