Visited today sat 18th June for my daughter's birthday as a treat my daughter and her two sons my grandchildren Leon 7 and dylan 4 and my other daughter came to . Unfortunately the only good thing I could say was enjoyable about our visit was the cleanliness and decor . The staff in the play area need to realise that they are working with children and they can smile !! My grandchildren played for 5 mins and came out waste of £6 they forgot to take their shoes off and were told nastly about it !! The food was horrible kids had dry burgers and piece of sweet corn not worth mentioning daughter had steak and chips not fantastic ether ! The chicken salad was the best need I say more !! Sorry but u need better food and more smiley nice friendly staff wouldn't recommend going there .

Kids chicken meatballs and pasta arrived with no meatballs. Ordered beef and stout pie and got a Gammon and Ale pie. Was expecting green veg as the menu and got chips. Ordered a Belgian waffle dessert to be told 30min later they couldn't find any waffles. The next nite we thought we would play safe and ordered black and blue burgers but there was no blue cheese in sight. The main course food we did get was very average (I'm being polite). The Gammon in my pie was more like bacon pieces. As we were staying at the Premier Inn, had a long day and a tired child looking elsewhere to eat was to much effort.

Called in for quick dinner yesterday evening. Food really really overpriced. I had the smothered chicken, the barbecue sauce was sprayed on, the coleslaw was just grated cabbage and carrot, very dry, and the sweetcorn was hardly visible, it was so small. The pudding redeemed the main course, being hot and tasty and a good price for the portion but waited forever for the waitress to come back for the pudding order and then had to attract the attention of the manager to place the order. Will not be in a hurry to return.

Experience was heavily marred by two drunken 'fathers' who'd rather throw their kids in the soft play and drink all day, then cause a riot by arguing with the management over a 99p bowl of chips. They were eventually asked to leave but we'd moved out of the kids play area by that time as their language and behaviour was FAR from what we'd expect in the kids section of the restaurant... However the food was good, and the manager came to apologise for their behaviour before we left.

Visited today with family , lady who was taking our orders at the till must of been poorly ,hardly any voice and she was sucking a throat sweet not pleasant to hear or healthy to be near .Finished our meal , another lady came to clear our table and proceeded to start scraping the leftovers onto one plate spilling some on my daughters arm .Staff training needed on health and Safety .

We eat here at least 2 times a month, it seems to be the only brewer's that don't cremate your food. The staff are always friendly and the soft play area is great on a weekday but a bit crazy on a weekend. The only grumble I have is there's not enough options for vegetarians which puts me off going because I get sick of having the same thing.

I always enjoy going to the Brewer's Fayre. I came with some friends to have a meal and play some of my own board games. We had a nice quiet table at the side and the drinks and meal were fine. Service is usually good here and it is a pleasant family pub. One order was forgotten but after chasing it up, they quickly brought it to my table.

Calm and relaxing sat in the bar area. Very good choice of food and drinks. Very good value. I also have a Brewers Fayre club card which collects points wether lm just meeting a friend for coffee or having a meal with my husband on a saterday evening and l also recieve emails of good offers like 40% off main meals which is an amazing saving!

I had paid for a meal by mistake that I hadn't ordered and when it arrived and we questioned this the manager without delay or questioning refunded the price of meal. Too many places when this happens make you feel guilty. Excellent friendly staff so we returned in morning for breakfast which while not being fancy was great value.

Good food, and well priced. However, the service was painfully slow on several occasions, and one of our party had a gluten intolerance, who found it difficult to make an informed choice without needing advice from the manager. In this instance, a more clearly labeled menu would've made things much easier.

Gone down in my expectations, used to think was one of the best around (even though my sister had ran one for 30 yrs) but to finish a buffet at 8pm, well just too early and no consideration for those that work a bit later especially summer time, service not as polite as usual either, such a shame

Came yesterday for break and it was fantastic but came today and disappointed to say the least, sat down with £20 worth of drinks for us all then to be told there's no £10.99 specials on as its the bank holiday weekend. No advertisement or even mentioning it when we got taken to the table.

Great fun in the soft play for my little girl we take her here often and she always loves it, the outdoor play area is also really good! Staff are friendly and coffee/teas are refillable. Food is a little pricey for what it is but still this place is a winner for anyone with young families!

My daughter had 4th birthday party there staff could b more cheerful and fun with the kids was nothing like that- went to bar asked for hot chocolate she gave me a cup n didn't explain what I need to do from there didn't realise was self services! Was bit disappointed

Horror show. One meal was sent back, the other was cold. Then we had to pay for the little one to run around in the soft play (When i was younger this was the selling point of a pub like this) Given the average meal was £10 we expected more than a school dinner. Disappointing.

Food was very nice but bar staff don't seem to know what they're doing. Took four explanations to order two drinks and one was a diet cola. They tell you that you can run a tab to pay at the end but then come to your table five minutes later to ask for payment!!

Not a great place for smaller children. There is a toddler play area, but it’s connected to the bigger one, and bigger children run trough, jumping off the soft play and throwing the toddler toys. It’s fine if you have a bigger child or if there is no one else there.

Good honest food at the Brewers Fayre. Extensive menu with regular special meals each week night.
Service is good and quality is to a standard.
It is always busy with a regular trade from the nearby Premier Inn.
Special deals available before 6.00pm.

Don’t order the Beef Chilli meal. Apparently they use finely minced beef, so finely minced you will be hard pressed to find any on your plate. Apart from that it tasted ok but maybe the menu could be updated to pre warn potential customers and avoid embarrassment.

The food really lets this place down. The building itself is clean, spacious and has entertainment for children in the form of soft play (£3 for 90 mins). The food is just a disappointment, you can get better quality at a fast food drive thru and I'm a chef!

Really nice place with good food.
Lost a star because the roof started dripping from loafs of places under heavy rain and the staff basically said 'Yeah, we're used to it'. Not fair on them, the management need to invest in fixing the roof.

Very convenient for the Premier Inn next door. Always enjoy the continental breakfast which has a good selection. Also have a bowl of porridge as part of this choice. Evening meals not as good but the burgers are good. Staff are always attentive and helpful.

Definitely a solid option for lunch. Great value on the daytime menu- tasty food with decent quality ingredients and fair portions. Unlimited refills on soda really made a difference. Will probably be back for the all you can eat burger & hotdog night!

Family friendly with small soft play area indoors and one outdoors when weather good.
Also offers other no children quiet areas.
Big screen for sports in bar area.
Buffet nights and standard food, good value.
Accessible parking

Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Great for families as the children's soft play will keep them occupied though will cost you £3 a head before food or drinks. Children's drinks are way too pricey. Food is reasonably priced and a good variety.

Come here all the time, staff is friendly and food is good. Recently got a chicken and bacon salad which was lovely. Usually get the baked salmon, have been to a few Brewer's Fayre pubs in the past year and Dunelm Ridge always do it best.

Nice food.. but shame when we came on fri the 14 play park was so full kids could not go in and play. Would have been nice to be told befor been seated as that's the only reson we went in the first place, so very upset kids

Had a lovely night. However not the right booze in for the cocktails they have on offer the last twice we have been in. Shortage of Champagne glasses and. cocktail glasses too. Big queues all night when paying for food or drinks

Excellent breakfast choices, from full English to great selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, umpteen types of breads, pastries & spreads, unlimited coffee, tea, juice etc; & all for very reasonable prices.

Environment is pleasant however the food isn't. I've ate here on several occasions and been disappointed every time ('well why does he keep going back?'you ask your self parents get lots of vouchers)
